A very good result but we have had one off performances before.
On GMR they said that Wakefield next week is Wigan's biggest game of the season and they are right because if we go and lose next week any momentum we have built up will have gone down the drain.
Look at Bradford one week they go and beat Leeds, the next they get smashed by Wire.
If this performance was on the back of a season where we had lost 2/3 games then no. At this moment we are still out of the top 8, (of which most have a game in hand).
Even the attrocious Bradford could go above us should they win their 'two' games in hand.
For all this hollering over the Murrayfield win, it will mean feck all should we lose next week (our only real chance of a cup).
We will also need to go on a winning run of epic proportions to recover what's been lost....Hull KR at home, Wire away?? Been there before haven't we (and what happened then).
Yes i'm ecstatic we won, it was not expected. But for me it's just delayed the pressing of the 'trapdoor' button another week.
For me, I hope he proves us all wrong but I've seen nothing different in the last 3 years to change my mind, in fact the only consistent thing about Wigan is that we're awfully inconsistent!
Everything is agianst us at wakey. Stevo has said we could win the Challenge cup, so I think we need to concentrate on the League now (thanks bald one)
