Quote "It's been a hard season. Nobody can win all the time in sport but you have to maintain your confidence and work ethic and keep going back to the qualities that have worked for you most of your career. Every sportsman knows that. Adversity makes you more determined to get right the next time, and the next time after that. '"
Quote "When we had the great run with Wigan, winning eight consecutive Challenge Cups, you could be excused for thinking it was all pretty straightforward. No way, every year there was one game, one situation, where we were up against it and had to dig very deep." '"
I know it isn't about Wigan or even RL but the more and more you hear about Edwards the more and more you think he’d be perfect to work with our talented but underperforming squad. The guy is so driven it must rub off onto the players. I'd love to see what he can do with Tomkinsx2, Prescott, Ainscough and all the other talented kids we have.
I really do believe the above isn’t just a Noble type sound bite that we always seem to see week in week out but that Edwards actually what he’s saying.

| Edwards has always lived by those sentiments - it is partly what made him difficult for some fans/players to take to. If only some of our current players would develop some of that mentality. I suspect that is what is mssing from the game as a whole, imagine what a player Hock could be if he had an Edwards type mind set.
