THIS DEVASTATED FAN:
WIGAN vs. ST. HELENS 09/04/2009
As the Easter period approaches, the rugby league world gears up for it's traditional mid season peak as arch rival clubs prepare to battle each other once again, with the clear cut pick of the bunch being the Wigan Warriors taking on St. Helens at the JJB Stadium - a fixture much aniticipated by both sets of fans.
A big game requires a big band to fir the bill on the =redWigan Warriors Showcase Stage and the band to perfectly fit that bill are =redThis Devastated Fan who return for their second performance on the stage.
Battling the snow and freezing conditions, the band got a contrasting warm reception from fans outside the stadium as they entertained before the Warriors fixture against Hull KR last Easter.
Now, with a well received new album "This Is For The Actors" (available now on MiT Records) to promote, the band are set to return to give fans a chance to hopefully see the band in warmer and drier conditions.
The band will be playing on the ‘new look’ Wigan Warriors Showcase Stage will be in the usual place located outside the North-East corner of the stadium (facing the JJB Soccer Dome) from about an hour before kick-off (8pm).
You can find out more about the band and listen to a few of their songs on their Myspace page here: [urlhttp://www.myspace.com/thisdevastatedfan[/url
