Not very inspiring is a very measured response....We are all fully aware of how difficult a time it is sportswise.....But not so much of a glimmer of good news ....Wonder if the promises of a few months ago from the club have turned to dust..or worse were just empty words....

So we are staying FT. but we are basically building a squad of kids/youngsters. ML said news would be coming out that would show the clubs intentions... well that seems clear now. I was holding on joining the SC until the club started updating us on how they are planning to move forward, seems pretty clear now. Despite how I seem on here, I try to remain positive, but its very hard right now. Despite the promises there has been nothing promising from the club.

Nothing from the club about anything - this is the worst I have known it. Get Neil Reynolds back from furlough and get him cracking on keeping us informed whether its good, bad or indifferent news. Any news is better than total monthly silences

When the tweet appeared from the club around 9pm, it was so flat, a disappointment, yes pleased for the two guys, but when they pushed signings, it was a if we were looking to extend the playing squad, are we waiting with hope to see if we get the 12th place! I fight our corner on Twitter and each time I post in response to media debates about who will be promoted, the post gets likes, others seem to think we do deserve the chance! but I worry if the panel will think so, it all depends how strong the application is, it will need to offer much more than at present.

Im not sure why anyone expected anything different tbh. DW has said we will not be signing anyone till we know where we are playing, plus he confirmed he has been trying to sign up the OOC players. Not sure why the big fuss from the club, why wait till late last night?? its not exactly ground breaking news, just tells us. Notice there is still no news on Dixon either, trying to bury bad news??

As for SL, it would be a total disaster for us as it stands. We would get bettered out of sight with the squad we have, unless we are going to make 8/9/10 SUPER LEAGUE QUALITY signings I could not see us picking up a point tbh. No exaggeration, that is how weak the squad is. Likewise if we stay in the Champ, unless we can sign 7/8 decent players we are going to struggle badly. Relegation fight is on the cards. If we have 23/24 signed up, we can pretty much name who they are, there is no way I can see us signing another 8 or so and having a squad of 31/32. I could be wrong but I just dont see it.

Which ever League we are in, Im expecting us to be lacking enough depth or quality to give it a real go.

It means not everyone has always been a fan but he has kept the fans informed on what’s going on at the club.
