Cunningham has being playing well. Not sure his play is noticed as much as others. Good to see him commit to the club and quite positive for next year. Hopefully another few announced soon.

Good news on both, who are proving excellent signings - i think Cunningham has had a stand out season. good speed at play of the ball and direct running making big yards. Both are scoring useful tries

More good news as Ben Hellewell and Matt Garside have both signed contact extensions for next season.

We're taking the Championship a bit more seriously this season - and winning. We're a good team that gels for once and could work if promoted to SL with some current players.

Partly yourself and partly an open question. It may be that I got the wrong end of your response (and if so I apologise). My point was we cant hold off signing guys up for next season (because we have an outside chance of going up) aswe may end up losing them (and if we don't go up, which lets face it we probably wont) it would leave us weaker for next season, again in the championship.

Its a difficult conundrum. If we go up we are to weak to compete if we don't we are not strong enough to go up and stay up

Every club has the same problem, however you have to keep a core squad and then strengthen it, usual thing tho, who ever goes down is likely to offload a shed load of players.
So in my opinion you contract the stronger players in the squad now then at the end of the season when you know what's happening sort the rest out.

Macani - not sure, I cant recall him scoring a 'wingers' try, too much lateral running, lets hypothesise and Dixon was out of favour at HKR, would he slum it with us ?

Harrison - I just dont know, I am sure he gets though so much unnoticed work in a game, well I haven't noticed it.

Stapleton looked class v Oldham, Yowies, Eliabs video highlights looked class - if fit, settled, inclined I would say yes to both.

But who knows what is out there and which clubs are hovering like vultures.

We might have the Marque issue to deal with next season!!
