Really good performance and lots of good individual performances. Another strong run out from Campo who seems to have found his form now. Kennedy did well again as did Leyland and Bassett. Not sure it was Sid’s best game and I always worry when Miloudi is on the ball but they deserved that win. Typically I gave the match a swerve….sigh!

Great result and one I think cake and the players deserve. A win at Magic weekend and IMG/RFL/SL not to mention Hull FC could have an uncomfortable Autumn.....,..COYB

Kershaw too (who seems to have slipped under the radar).
And we just need Sid to run slightly different lines, he'd be devastating.

Bassett and Kershaw do lots of the hard, unglamorous work - very consistent. I thought Parata made a difference and Natoli did well.

Rourke was impressive but Bassett was MotM for me. Campagnolo's kicking was very good, finding gaps in Catalan's backfield. I think it was his awkward kick from which the winning try started.

Nobody seems in much of a hurry to put up either highlights, interviews or the game on super League plus. Disappointing, you could imagine how football would market a newly promoted team beating, say, man utd

Apparently Catalan were off colour, which was the cause of the loss. Nothing to do with them being second best then?

Even with IMG, RL is a game that couldn't market water in a desert.

Don't know what colour they were supposed to be but by losing to the better bottom team, they would have been red faced at the end.

We were better than them throughout the game but a bit wasteful.

Interestingly though I think 12 of the 17 in Cats team were French which must surely help the French game which as I understand it is the reason for the inclusion of 2 French teams in super league/Championship and all the attendant inconvenience and expense. So maybe that is finally paying off.

Yep. They gave it their best just not quite enough. Catalans are very ordinary this year. But not as ordinary as Hull who really are taking the pics. Odds on a class action by Hull season ticket holders for full refunds. I can’t see Hull have a leg to stand on.
