Bearing in mind what a poster on here has allready posted about the RFL using BT's broadcasting ambitions as a lever in their negotiations with Sky for the next RL broadcasting deal i am begining to wonder if the clubs game plan is to try and be competitive on as little money as DH can afford now in the hope that the new TV deal will make us financially viable. It is the competition in Oz that has got them their big money lets face it.

Hmmm....AFL and NRL are the 2 big players in OZ, RL/Union are nowhere near the top sport in the UK....not even on the same page.
As for becoming even more reliant on TV cash.....that is not a sustainable business model! FANS = revenue & sponsors = MORE FANS = more revenue and bigger sponsors.....

I've tried to ingrain this ' formula ' into the board at Leigh , but they seem to think the ' top tier ' of the stadium is their priority, and they want the existing fan base to entice back the ' stayaways ' and spread the word to new ones, no marketing budget or staff seems the way to go apparently, they are now appealing for ' voluntary positions ' to be filled

I spoke to TK after Saturday's game and he said the Broncos membership would be the same pricing structure as the football but only for 7 months of the year (SL season length). For the other 5 months the prices would drop to £2 a month. So at my early bird price that would be £164 a year.

One thing I forgot to ask was whether the West stand bar would be available to all for RL matches. For football it's only available for Premium members. I imagine there would be a mini riot if booze was not available to all for RL games. I will try and broach the subject if I can't another chance on the 21st January.

BTW...I used to turn up at games all the time. Most times I had blagged a couple of free tickets though, so whether I am there or not, it matters little!

...and I was offered these mythical shirts (TWICE)...I didn't ask for them!

So that confirms it, its all gutters fault never paying to get in and getting free kit from the club

alas Michael, a cursory glance at my wardrobe contents point to me having spent rather too much in the club shop (and port-a-cabin at Griffin Park) for me to be truly considered a "free loader". I also have, on occasion, purchased tickets in bulk and attended games with friends...the picture below is one such time with 8 people attending the Huddersfield game (although I think the Inflatable Wale might have got in free)

..I also, just to prove a point, filled 2 away day coaches to Wales and Wakefield. The club believed that it wasn't viable because they ran free coaches and nobody used them.....to prove a point I used a secret tool called COMMUNICATION and what do you know....full coaches.
