couple of questions as a Fev fan...what is likely to be open (if anything) by way of refreshments inside the ground? bar? food stalls? secondly can you sit where you want and do they open the whole ground or not, and can you move from one end to the other at half time? thanks in advance.

Kings Bar is normally open, not sure what concession vans will be there if any, the club normally do a ticket and nose bag offer for away fans and you can sit anywhere you like.....enjoy your trip south.

The Kings bar is the biggest bar in rugby.

They don't generally open the stands behind the sticks, so not much point moving at half time.

The tickets being sold to Fev fans this morning say "North Stand" on them, that's the smaller one behind the sticks isn't it? Or does that just refer to the entrance they have to go in at?

Apparently queues at our ground to get tickets this morning and sounds like three coachloads on the way down.

Two busses sold out after 20 mins. A third bus now being offered.

looks like the whole town is coming, take a look at there website, its £25 for coach and ticket, thats more money than it will cost to come from East London and Essex, i will not be there, as cannot get day off, though, could not be asked anyway, Who cares anyway, hope they change, three days before, would make it good wouldn't tit, because i have changed dates for bradford game, i annoyed the boss, so no favours now till end of season

I'm combining the game with a visit to my brother in Herts. I'll be getting a train to Kings Cross, is it as big a pain in the ass as it looks to get from there to The Stoop?

No, tube to Waterloo, and then a direct train, if you are lucky!

Think there will be more Fev fans at the game. The way we are playing at the moment it is not worth the 160 mile trip I will be watching the local lads instead. Sadly I will not be the only one missing this one.

It's Gus's fault that all he will doing the way of promoting this game is tweetbook it and email us....the Challenge Cup game represents a perfect opportunity to introduce "new" fans to the game with a decent chance of a win.....

402 in 2011 and 652 in 2012....these are the 2 lowest crowds I can find for home London games in the SL era......both on his watch....the only 2 home games I can find in 18 years where there were less than 4 figures in the crowd.....



It's his job to make the fans "bothered"...it was his #1 priority before he realised he was at it so made the name change his #1 priority....now finding a new home is his #1 priority......his real priority is finding ways to hang on to his Job.

Try to defend him again if you must PC Plum....the facts, statistics and average attendances are indefensible.

GF. You're now starting to sound like Dally Messenger or eels fan with the "You are Defending Gus" spin. Making it very "you're with me or against me". Which simply isn't true.

Thing is, I can't think of anyone who has comes on here defending Gus or are happy with club events. Hands up if you do. But just because someone gets fed up with your constant attacks on the club, on him or disagrees with you on a matter, or offers up a potential alternative explanation, does not mean they DEFEND GUS.

It's about the club. Everyone cares about that. People in the past have supported you and agreed with you on many, many things. Myself included. But when on nearly every single thread you post on these days, there's constant jibes, attacks and personal attacks on the club, and its staff, may have contributed to people being less interested in what you have to say. Myself included there also.

The personal stuff directed at the CEO is way over the top and tbh, the ganging up of grown men on here is akin to bullies in the playground, imo.

So basically, you're saying that there's no point in highlighting the failures of the CEO because weall already know than and nothing's going to change? The stuff written about Gus isn't personal....I have said he's probably a really nice bloke, but professionally, he's killing the club. I am not "ganging up" on anyone....I have always called it as I've seen it and spoken from the heart...it just so happens that the current CEO is overseeing the darkest and most unprofessional period in the SL Clubs lifetime.
