More than a little touchy. The Volunteers gave up pre-match socialising to run the 50/50 as well as their own time to help out. To call the offer of a box (it was done last year as well IIRC) a jolly for the friends of Alison is just rude and points to how little you understand their role over the years.

With the rumoured recruitment of NL1 players to the squad for 2010 as well as the recent incredible collapse in form, I would have though you would have been concentrating on other things rather than who the club wish to thank for their help over the season

Isn't this just yet another case where someone can say

"I'm entitled to my opinion"?

as wrong, ill-informed, insulting and stupid as it may be, everyone is entitled to their opinion.
