Haven't missed a 7's at the tin but to be honest, nobody watches the rugby until the semi's and final...it's a massive fancy dress party over 2 days.
Got tickets and flights sorted for the 9's. They are selling really well according to releases and should see 44k sell outs each day. They have impacted on the Wellington 7's, because this is the first year I have been here that the 7's still have a few seats available for sale at xmas and they are advertising. We have friends from Auckland who do the 7's every year and are instead doing the 9's.
Mind you, $69 for 2 days at the 9's or $209 for 2 days at the 7's so no big surprises there

Yeh, the fancy dress in NZ looks quality for the 7s.Always seems to be so passionately supported when the tour comes to the cake tin.Maybe the fancy dress could be incorporated here for The Magic Weekend.

Congrats to the organisers of the 9s for the sensible pricings out there.Really hope there are some London 9s tourneys and maybe even a Magic Weekend at Wembley one day!Who knows.

According to a poster on the hudds forum, Email from England RL offering merchandise with a £10 ticket offer to round 1 & 2 games this season. This offer is only available to people who bought RLWC 2013 tickets, so according to fat Nigel, that's about 40,000 cockneys who were at the Big Hit....
What will AK think of half price tickets and will we see a full hive for the visit of the devils?

London and Catalan home games were excluded from the offer.

FFS.......I despair at the level of utter incompetence at both the RFL and what passes itself off for the club


If there are 40,000,or even 4,000 people who bought tickets to the Big Hit, who hail from inside the M25 then the RFL and London should be paying for these people to be bussed to games at the Hive.......not ed up membership schemes where the seller hopes you will lazily forget to cancel your Direct Debit.

A Hive membership IS NOT A ST TO THE LONDON BRONCOS, but is a membership to a facility. The Club will receive little if any benefit from fans buying into the scheme other than about a 2 quid discount on game day ticket prices. I know some fans will buy these things believing they are supporting the club, but in reality, the only way to actually put cash in the clubs coffers will be through replica gear and the club shop.......AK pretty much gets everything else.


We are paying AK to let us play on his pitch as well as to market us and look after paperclips. Then, not content with that, he then gets more cash on the gate and over the bar and food counters.....London Broncos funding is from SKY and Hughes. If the tickets, bar and food don't equal Hughes input in 2014 then AK will cut us loose......

in 2012 Corporate, ticketing and other revenues generated 540k......Hughes ploughed in 2.2 million.
2011 500k and 1.9 million
2010 580k and 2.5 million

....all buying a Membership will do is delay the inevitable for12 months and buy you 13 hammerings.

Ridiculous that we aren't either willing or able to promote to those in the south who bought RLWC tickets.

Blake solly was involved with the Barnet negotiations. Surely at some stage knock down Nigel's fanciful figures for London viewers and ticket buyers would have been rolled out........AK thinks he's on for 13 full houses!

I see on the the Wigan site junior pie's fans have not received vouchers for away fixtures I wonder if this is because of london and the "membership scheme" and alleged no season tickets?

Try calling the ticket office at the hive to find out. I am sure they will know what's going on given they are being paid to look after this stuff
