Strange one yesterday. For those who weren't there there was a hell of a wind which Cas had at their backs in the first half, hence Gale's lack of goal kicking success and the Cas kick offs causing havoc. So only a score down at half time I was quite confident but we just coyuldn't take the advantage and then Rangi Chase started his tricks and that was that. Positives were Reilly and I thought Jamie O'C had his best game for us - the opening try was a belter.

You know we could just move en masse to the Lexus stand, we have only a handful of stewards, what are they going to do, refuse to start the game until we move to the lesser stand.

It would be seen as a political statement, against whom or what I'm not sure but it would send a message.

Pfft. Pathetic. They should show a bit of professionalism as paid sportsmen are supposed to do. Having two empty stands should not make a jot of difference to how they play.

More than a co-incidence, you could plot the slow slide from that point. I am up for it- though I won't be at the Bulls game. The club have to know how this slow death is killing us as well. Things change when things can't go on in the same old way. The club just seems to be waiting for something to turn up! There is a smell of death about the place and only a winning side can't exorcise it. The problem is there may not be many fans to see it when it comes. I have already been musing on what to do post Quins RL. If say 250 of us put some money into the Skolars they could get into the Championship - at least it is a plan B!

The way we were playing and it was against Top Clubs then when we have met the lower teams we have collapsed, there has to be something deeper than just a lack of confidence and effort from our players.

I was over the other side for the cas game, ok not the best game to use as that was prob a decent performance
But over there you cannot really hear whats coming from the supporters and there is no atmosphere at all

At least when we were sat over there, the players and the coach could get the feeling of the support! And they def react to it, both positive and negative.
The up close and personall does work, we need to barrack the club, if we go en masse on a match day it will only backfire with the MC reporting back to the RFL and the club will suffer for being unable to control the crowd
We need to make a real represenation to the club with the suggestion first, if no answer then sod it lets just go over there and give em our thoughts during the game

Quite right. Let us ask the club if we can go back, I am sure the players would appreciate close support. Hey I would go there next year and pay a lot more, if enough of us were keen it would easily pay for the stewards, the bar is a problem though.

I would say that it was mental brittleness that means our slumps last so long, and that the players believed yes we can do something, and now have returned to the 2010 attitude which is simply no we can't. Get a body language expert in to look at the 2010 pictures and they would say the games were lost before we had double digits against us on the scoreboard. I think a Cas fan pointed out that it was acceptance under the sticks and no voice of leadership, no plans to counteract anything or bring some energy to the play, try something different, lets do this, come on guys lets play for pride, attack the same guy for five tackles and exploit him, but there was nothing like that.

We realise we have a relatively weak squad, but at least Wakefield and Crusaders play with passion.

I fully agree with you that has become the attitude of the players since the slump started after the first games of this season, but why is there no Passion?

Tickets from the Evening Standard for the Bradford game are for the LV Stand which is the new name for the Lexus Stand. Hopefully the club will tell the stewards to let anyone sit where the want in the two stands apart from those reserved seats in the Etihad stand.
