Commentary team not overly happy with the officials, but as they say you have to play what's there rather than trying to lay blame.

Must have Been 10 Penalties for laying on or messing around at the ptb do players not learn? If the ref is going to penalise for any messing around then they need to give it up and be squeaky clean.
sounds like he is playing same for both teams so can't whinge 12 2 half time, could be a lot worse and we have wind behind us second half hope we use it

No one is expecting us to play like the Harlem Globetrotters, but constantly knocking the ball on on the 2nd & 3rd tackles & repeatedly conceding penalties for holding down is not acceptable!!

Tbf conditions were absolutely awful.

I thought your first half try should have been awarded. Ball security left a lot to be desired. You could do with another prop or two IMO.

28 against us not that bad doomsayers would have suggested a lot more, what is concerning is lack of ability to cross the line.

Listening to the commentary and from what I have seen so far this season we seem to struggle getting the player to ground, it happened with Batley ball carrier still making several mtrs with 2 or even 3 defenders hanging on, no one wants to take the legs away.

I agree I have always said to have one tackle at the top of the body and one tackle at the legs. If wrapped up at chest level you cant offload the ball. If tackled at leg level you cant go anywhere

Our lack of props isn't really news

What's concerning is that we are 6th, when we need to be 4th.

On points difference, it's hardly a calamity at this stage of the season.

Listened to the commentary, allowing for the obvious Bradford bias, it didn't sound too bad except we couldn't get across the try line, the commentators mentioned the obvious "Bradford look bigger n stronger"...Olni come back...Please someone lend us yer Props!!!!

Confirmed when little bro' and his two mates returned having seen said game, enthusiastic enough, far too small (as a squad) though in all honesty Bradford were just a tad better.......They insist we did score a try but the ref was having a mare! The Bradford faithful apparently agreed with the sentiment, though in fairness his decisions were equally wrong for both sides.

The boys feel the improvement is there to see, we just needed some biff and not the sort that could've/should've seen four in the bin (two of theirs and two of ours) or perhaps even a red (not that I remember the commentary team talking about punches and indeed even a kick!???? must've been putting the kettle on). Wish I'd have gone but working a bloody 12 hour shift I knew I couldn't get back down the M1 in under two hours!
