The spaces at the athletics stadium by the club house, and the few parking spoaces down by the stadium are normally restricted during the inter service games to Players, VIP's and officials, and even the officials struggle to get in to that car park, not sure if they are still doing some building work there as well.
It will not be a problem if they put the cars over the road, the army are usually pretty well organised

No mate not running the line, one of the TJ is ex Navy though so there is a combined service representation on the officials side

Not sure what crowd size will be, the army may bus a few folk in on "duty" to try and urge the boys on

Having watched the past few matches between the Army v RAF to my mind the RAF go in as favourites (albeit the Army won a tight game last time out)-It will be interesting to see what stops the Army have gone to to make players available!!!

same can be said for the RAF squad, both teams have the same problems getting players free for games. Inter services games are known well in advance so squads can plan pretty early trying to get players free

Hope they both get decent squads, difficult to call, despite the Army taking the honours last season

Yes I plan to make the onerous trip down to the stadium..... Hoping to drag along one or two Aldershot Town fans to watch a live match. They often ask me about RL and seem to watch it on Sky a bit and enjoy it so fingers crossed it's an enjoyable game.

This area is prone to fog but that was the worst I have seen. I was away for a couple of days and got back at what should have been final whistle time. I couldn't see my house until I was within 25 yards of it. No fog forecast for Saturday thankfully.

The Army progressed, 27-16 if my dodgy maths was up to scratch. 11 very late points made it look a lot easier than it was. Another thoroughly entertaining game served up at Aldershot by the Services. Thanks are due to all involved for delivering such an entertaining spectacle despite the gale blowing around the stadium.

Thoroughly enjoyable game, and some good skills, shame the wrong team won!!!! Well done brown jobs hope you get a good draw in the next round

Micky-I was a bit disappointed with the RAF- Speaking to the Army Coach he tells me that the team was pretty much the development team from last year.(I think the lack of the old guard has done them a favour). The Army only made a couple of interchanges due to lack of numbers- 8 and 10 went the distance due to lack of interchange options (17 was the only forward interchange available). I thought the Army worked the RAF 6 well as he was the danger man. Good win for the Army-Bring on the semi pro teams

Disappointed not to make it, but delighted to see a win for the Army. Nice one.

Think its the problem with the military rugby, they can only turn out the team that they can raise on the day with the limitations of guys being on ops and stuff
The army squad did have a couple of the old guard there, but yep some of the new faces coming in to the main squad, and some real pace around the fringes, taking the 2 points on the conversions helped as well, and a couple of those from the touch line.
The 1 pointer showed the guys were thinking
RAF squad made a few silly errors, but you just got the feeling all the way through that the Army would come good.

sadly the Navy lost up in warrington yesterday so Army the only service rep left for the next round, hope they get a good draw

Apparently, the Army were more than capable of defusing the RAF's aerial assaults.
