If we could not get Jamie Soward back the player I would have chosen to get us back on track would have been Sammut. For some strane reason he is out of favour at Wakey.

Dual regards with skolars and oxf all good and well to provide bodies and experience for those coming up but lacked the top flight savvy so a tie in up the chain is good

Bit of a challenge for Joe, having to integrate two new halfbacks into the squad in the space of a few days. It appears that Foran is well out of favour if he doesn't make an appearance this weekend.

Don't know about the lad from Widnes but Sammut could be a cracking signing for you, especially if you get to keep him for some time.

Sammut will be a great signing I feel sure - he's played well against us on a number of occasions, seem to recall him inspiring Bradford to a second half comeback and victory against us for Bradford at Wycombe.

That second half at Wycombe was a one man show, we just could not stop the bloke.

On reflection. I suppose that Joe doesn't have to do anything to integrate him because he just does his own thing anyway.

No problem for Sammut - he always plays his own game! and Gilmore will have played in Leigh a few times.

Tom is a good little player, very good rugby brain on him and a nice kicking game, a little soft defensively but hopefully this loan will enable him to work on that.

If his defence is a little soft as you suggest he will fit in nicely.!

He needs to bulk up and strengthen more. He has not had many first team games to judge the lad to be fair. The games i have seen i would agree with Vikingman.

I had hoped that we signed Sammut before he went to Wakey ....He is the kind of player who can rip a team to shreds....It's been too long since we had a true talent (Jamie Soward) to make a game worth attending..

Absolutely! Can't get to Leigh but am looking forward to seeing him at the next home game.

That would be great but it's a dual reg deal. Quite possible next week he'll be back at Wakey and someone else might be here.

Webster seems to prefer Miller to partner Tim Smith so unless Miller gets injured I think you will probably get to keep Sammutt until the easter fixtures, when with a couple of games in a short space of time, I think we will need to use the various players we have out on loan/dual reg.

Great acquisition for London. I clearly remember him trashing the Bulls at Magic Weekend while playing for the Welsh. I thought we were fortunate to get him and yet Cummins didn't seem to value him. Not a player to fit into systems but can't be ignored by opposition. Seems to have same problem at Wake. I imagine Leigh will look to neutralise him early so would be better coming on a bit later. He may help to keep score respectable.
