Does anyone else think we look a little light in the front row, not in terms of numbers but in terms of experience. Wallace, Everett, Dollapi and Riley all very young for props, leaving Slyney and Cordoba, the latter I have general doubts about. If there was any money left in the kitty, for me getting someone like Carvell would be imperative.

If we're just talking about experience then Slyney and Cordoba are experienced pros, no issue there. Dollapi has had 2+ seasons at SL level I think, Riley has been around for a while at Wire too if I'm not mistaken so you could argue it's fairly well balanced.

Plus Harrison is playing 13 I guess, another experienced pro in the middle third

Can't see any issues regarding the Front Row

Greenwood, Krasniqi out. Cordoba, Riley in.

Wallace, Everett and Dollapi a year older and bigger. Slyney settled in as a leader. Lovegrove as an option.

I think our stocks at prop are slightly stronger than last year TBH. Of course, some risk attached to both Cordoba and Riley as newbies.

Bradford Props = Sidlow, Fleming, Clough, Tahroul, Davies, Bates + Walker, Ferguson, Pitts

Leigh Props = Wilkes, Barlow, Ostick, Emmitt, Hopkins, Walker, Fui Fui (poss), Beaumont

London props = Slyney, Cordoba, Wallace, Everett, Riley + Lovegrove

Leigh look strong. For me this is the area games are going to be won. We cant be bullied.

And Dollapi, who was the best forward on the pitch against Bradford at the end of the season.

London should try and pinch him from under their noses. If promotion to Super League is to be realistic, London cannot have a set of props inferior to Leigh's.

Nope. We've decided to give jobs to mates of the coach.

I don't know if Hughes will or will not cover any losses we may make. He certainly has covered AK's aspirations financially for 2015, but they still haven't thrashed out the fine points......and Hughes is a negotiator, having nearly destroyed us totally in 2013. As it is, I'd prefer to think that the squad we have assembled are costing us no more than our central funding and the day to day running costs are being met by commercial activity.

From what I've read, Leigh have put in place a business plan that will prevent them from over-stretching. Mike Norris their Chairman recently was quoted as saying

I suspect that they are well within their budgets for 2015 having been a very well run business on and off the field in 2014. If they were going for bust to get back up, it would take more than 1 35yr old player to get them there.....
