| We've all had our say, the club reads this forum and has heard our opinions on Facebook and twitter. Now they know our feelings and the strength of them it's time to move on and concentrate on the game Sat which I think we'll win.
Get yourself to the game, enjoy the fact that we can see players of the calibre of Gower and Kaufusi in a London shirt and moan again next week if needs be. Going over and over it isn't going to help anybody.

| Don't watch if you haven't got the stomach for it, Gutters.
Tre is right. Although I'm down now, I will be up for the game by Thursday. Remember, we are significantly better at home than away (thank gawd!).

| They could, actually. Believe me, we have seen worse from London over the years.
Problem is, we have all had our expectations raised this year. As I've said before, does £1.65m buy you a top 8 SL team in London? Hope so.

8 games in, 2 points and a deficit of 98 in the F/A column.....
Whilst I admire yout optimism, where are the 15 wins we're going to need for an 8th place or better finish coming from?
Wakefield, Widnes, Castleford and London will be fighting to avoid last place....Bradford, HKR and Salford will be scrapping for 8th....
To finish in the 8th we would have to win all our remaining games against the other 7 teams above (9) as well as knock off the current top 6 and St Helens another 6 times......
...can you really see anything than maybe 4 more wins and possibly one "upset" win this year?

| What optimism? I haven't said we're a top 8 team or are going to be.
Point I was trying to make is if you spend the full sal cap, is it sufficient to but you a team challenging for honours in London? If you compare what we have to teams such as Wire Wigan etc, it would suggest not on current evidence. BUT, I live in hope of us turning things around and yes, I do believe we will win more than 4 games.

| Sorry to shatter your illusions "Tre".
You couldn't get a more "Glass Half Full" person than me, when it comes to finding the positives about our team but I have been battered into submission by our lack of pride performances that I've been forced to endure this season.
As stated on another thread, I intended to attend every match both Home & Away this season but this challenge has come to an end already.
I can take a loss as long as you can say "At least the players tried their hardest". This just hasn't happened this season & I continually come away from the matches feeling utterly deflated. (A shame it doesn't affect the players in the same way).
I'm fed up with wasting my time & money watching a team that has no pride or passion & will not be booking up any more Away games after the Leeds match.
If the likes of myself, Wire Quin & many others feel this way, hopefully the club will sort out the malaise that seems to have taken over the team.
I've not got on Rob Powells back yet but after just watching his post match interview, he stated that the players seemed to think that because they have played better in their last two matches, they would continue against Widnes.
F.F.S. it's your job to make sure they don't think like that. If you can't get simple things like this over to your team, time to consider if you're capable.
So once again, Sorry Tre but I cant pretend everything is rosy & carry on as usual.

Results would suggest we were as poor last year....Hull/Quins - 38-6, Wigan/Quins 54-6 Wire/Quins 82-6. Looking at the correspponding fixtures last year would see us with 1 point from the home draw against Cas.
There's loads of examples where we have been totally shambolic since we moved back to the Stoop, but the difference now is our expectations have been raised due to the money spent (allegedly) on this team.

| If every supporter of any sport stayed away when things were bad! we would hardly have any sport left in the country. Yes we moan and we have a right to when we pay to see sport but staying away is pointless, anyway if you feel like that why bother full stop! supporting the club.

| That’s not true- every club has a level
Why do you think the crowds in the lower divisions of football are smaller
I suspect Reading will have a bigger crowd next year in the Premiership than this year
All I ask is to be entertained. That doesn’t necessarily mean win.

| Wire- I know how you felt after watching the shambles that was the Salford game, but I'd just like to give you a bit of hope in that the Widnes game was not as bad as that. Last year, if we had gone down by 12 points in first 5 minutes, heads would have dropped and we would have lost 48-0 or similar. At least they didn't give up.
We need to take the positives out of the three home games and build on that.
Bronco Billy - hope to see you at the game (or probably early doors in the Spoons. I guess you'll be there about 11 !).

Hmmm.....Positives from the 3 home games?
We lost to a very average Saints unit, were well beaten by a very good Huddersfield side and hammered the worst team in the league (table doesn't lie)......all of these in front of less than 10,000 fand over the three games.
We have conceded 80 points at home and scored 82 points.......yet only have 2 points to show for our troubles?
Beating Castleford was a glitch.......I suspect normal service will be resumed this weekend.

| I stand by my post. I said take the positives out of the home games and there WERE positives, as many on here that were at the games will concur with.
With all due respect Gutters, you haven't attended any of the games and you can only judge by what you've read on here (and that will usually be 90% negative even when we win), and a few mins of highlights footage.
Still, much better to just focus on all the negatives... that way we can all really look forward to the game on Saturday
Oh, glad you managed to get another dig at the attendances in.... some of us are more interested watching the game than head-counting.

I honestly don't think you can make an objective judgement without having seen these games in the flesh. It's all very well listening to the radio commentary or the match reports, but my assessment is very different.
The Saints game - yes we lost, but there were some encouraging signs. We competed. Saints weren't amazing, but they didn't show that many signs of the bad times that were to come for them.
The Huddersfield game - Huddersfield were really very average. It was probably their worst performance of the season thus far, and yet they still put 30 points on us and we looked toothless. It was baffling.
