Not sure how many will make the trip north (respect to those who do), but this will tell us a fair bit about where we are heading in terms of the shield.
We lost up there in March with them having 4 DR Widnes players in the side and playing on a quagmire.....a loss that had one poster somewhat spookily predicting:
Quote but the reality is we will either be whipping boys in the middle 8 come September, or one of the stronger sides in the bottom 8 and neither scenario creates excitement for me or the home support who voted with their feet 2 weeks ago'"
We can't afford to drop 2 points here if we want a "home' semi-final, but Haven will be looking to put more daylight between them and 7th spot....we need to be on-it from the start and if we get ahead, don't take our foot off the gas! Featherstone will beat Doncaster and I can't see the Rams losing at Batley, so this is a must win game.
If we finish 3rd in the shield we'll more as likely be away to the Rams...we're 0/3 with them this year so home advantage is a must!
Referee is G Hewer.
