Reading on other threads a couple of weeks ago the Broncos are run by a load of people from cricket. I think the gist of the thread was what a terrible plan this was!

Now at club level i tend to agree but at game level would this be disaster? This is largely inspired by watching T20 world cup. But as far as marketing is concerned cricket reinvented/ created a product to sell as a fast and furious summer sport. Is this not Rugby League's best selling point?

It stricks me that a number of RL team are in precarious financial position is this just down to incompetent management or a game that needs better marketing?

Hoping not to create team marketing tread, I think we've done that to death on here, but can we please have a game marketing thread?
