I hope the club get their backsides in gear to do something to really celebrate the 30th anniversary, and honour the links with Fulham/Crusaders & Broncos. If they invite old players back, it would be nice if they actually announced them onto the pitch one at a time this time rather than the shoddy way they did it at the end of 2008 season, so they can get the ovation they deserve.

Deansgate's as good as anywhere else. If you're gonna get a cab its prob best to pre-book one though as you can end up waiting forever.
Usually drink in the spoons in town beforehand, dunno the name of it but iirc its on Oxford Road/Street. Bash, a lurker on this site, could probably name the one.

Aye we hit a couple of the Spoons last year too. The one with lots of little rooms and the large open plan one. Last year we went to get the tram. It was obviously fairly busy so a bit of a bundle to get on. I managed to get on, but my mate who's 6'5" and 18 stone decided he couldn't force his way on, so he and the other 2 members of my party bottled it, managed to get a cab, cost them a fiver and dropped them near the ground while I had to walk from the tram stop
