can't see anything other than another trouncing unfortunately, but with the disruptions we've had we are just gonna have to suck it up and accept that we are going to take a few hits until we get our main men back.
But, as long as i see effort and willingness, even in defeat i will be content, i know some posters on here don't take that attitude, but i try and take some positives from every game and every situation.

Another thing i was discussing with a mate the other day, as which of our guys is going to have "first dibs" on Ferres and is it likely to affect our concentration levels?
Will we ignore him or target him with some rough stuff, knowing his tendency to give penalties away when frustrated?

Re the ferres thing, I believe that if our squads situation was not as hampered as it is it may have been more of an issue. Our issues will have taken a fair amount of focus off any ill feelings that players may have. I doubt many players would empathise with huby but can't see the entire squad being out for blood so to sPeak. If we were at full strength with huby in there too... Who knows but that's not how the situation is playing out. Will have to wait till the return fixture at our spot!
With the penalties with have been shipping out so far we just need to focus on ourselves not head hunting a player

that was more or less what i was trying to say,if someone decides to have a pop at Ferres, will it affect the mindset and concentration.

Can imagine that both ours and Leeds fortunes will have changed when we play the return leg! Many players back and can imagine the crowd being ready to hurl some abuse ferres's way! With huby playing at the same time we may get some retribution play.

As baloo said at the forum, what happened happened....we can't change it and it hasn't affected the guys.

To be honest I hope someone does lamp him, his attitude after the 'event' was completely crass and without remorse. He has shown no compassion for the lives he's wrecked. It would have been better all round if he'd kept his trap shut and just got on with the job he's being well paid for.

Give over, he wasn't too bad overall but some decisions should've gone the other way for both teams.

Will actually say the better team lost, we were fortunate that 3/4 guys managed to lift enough for us in the 2nd half to drag us over the line.

Hudds with one of the most obvious messing around at the PTB's of the night on Hardaker and Hardaker gets penalised for dissent.

Hudds near our line, it's brushing a Hudds shoulder before Leeds defender knocks on but Hidds get the scrum.

Murphy loses it cleanly and Hardaker runs 20m with it in the 1st half yet the ref calls it back for a strip that clearly didn't happen and it builds up to your first try,


Don't be daft enough to think all the wrong calls went against you.

As for this particular one, that is the exact kind of obstruction call that most condemn as a poor call and you'd be livid if given against you in an attacking position. It was quite rightly not given as an obstruction.

The grounding I think is good. The question is of enough evidence to overturn the original 'guess' decision which I hate anyway. But the grounding was ok when replayed.

I'm not sure hudds have scored a legit try all season.

No that was clearly not a try, just a question of a penalty as the Wigan playing kicked the ball out of the hand but at no point was it grounded.

You're desperate and reaching. Like I said Hudds were the better team tonight IMO, don't need to get silly and make out ALL the decisions against you were wrong and the ones you do get in your favour were all correct.
