Just an idea for the flag fund and the 'big away day' I have found a website which sells very reasonable scarves, well we could kill two birds with one stone. Get maybe 20 scarves and sell them cheap with a small profit maybe £2-3 and then the flag fund makes money and everyone can have a scarf for Take My Hand. Just a thought

Wouldn't it be great if the club got on board and these profits that will be going to a company that makes scarves and flags instead went to the club or at least proportion did.

We should definitely be able to raise just over £100. Cracking size for that amount. If everyone who has indicated on this thread that they've got flags brought them to the hull and Wigan matches in addition to this proposed flag we should have a good showing.

I'm contacting club about a few things referenced in this thread, one being the club getting involved.

It appears Giants are on course to have more flags than season ticket holders.

The whole idea is based on the premise that it will improve the matchday experience for everyone home and away so I actually believe crowds will increase as a result therefore bringing in more profits to the club.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to donate? Would anyone be put off by PayPal?

Yeah this is what we will use, however we will wait until we have a design before asking people to donate

On the design there was a fair few ideas been put forward, what design are we going for?

Our designer is currently working on one which we think we be a really good first flag! Just waiting for it to be finished

Are people still feeling positive about this idea? I know it's been a while since it was mentioned, we are trying to get a design done however our designer has been busy producing the latest fanzine which is a delayed end of season/Christmas edition (very delayed)! If this gets support it could massively change and improve the match day experience

That is the plan, once we have some banners we will expand into 'Big Away Days'.
