Thought we had blown it. Got to win the tight hard games but bar saints we have made life hard for ourselves. Need to increase line speed in defence, get into the faces of the opposition. No good letting our big lads get run at...get into them and hit them hard!

Wakey text on Radio Leeds saying Giants support was poor!

sounded like wakey put us under pressure in the last 20, it's all very well racking up big scores but the games we win when we tough it out like today and last week are just as satisfying.
listened to a bit on radio and said about 1000 giants and they were very complimentary about that as we dont usually travel well.

Giants support was pretty decent - a good 1500 or so was good to see.

Gutted by the result as I thought Wakey despite turning over too much cheap possession and a gifted 4pts by the sticks were slightly better today over the advantage line.

Tough but enjoyable game of rugby. Just sucks to lose like that.

I thought you had won it at the end. From the commentary a bit of composure particularly at half back and you could have won.

Cannot understand what happened when you played Bradford

Paul Anderson not happy we gave the ball up so easily and should have killed them off earlier.

That's rubbish. We had loads down the side. Missed kick off queing to get in there was that many if us there!

Think the Bradford game was just one of those games. Think the disruptions with returning players and lack of game time for a few didn't help.

I was cheering with the rest when smith went over. We'll see many given like that all season but this one wasn't.

Can only take heart from a good effort and performance. Play a bit smarter and we will hopefully make playoffs again.

Final pass was miles forward and correct decision, awful game really in which i thought we got on top of before they resorted to roughing us up which worked cos they got back into it
on another note the allocation of only 2 turnstiles for away fans WILL cause some problems for wakefield this season it was an absolute farce today.

It's a sign of a good team when you play poorly and still come away with the 2 points. It's a new team with new ideas and we are still on a learning curve. Times are looking very bright at the moment.

Also gifted them too much possession by dropping balls and silly offloads. Lets get back to good old hard running in the forwards, fast ptb's and playing on the front foot. In defence get back to fast line speed as smashing them hard, Poore didn't want to know today and if we had smashed him early we would have set the time for the game. Let off today and need to step it up again cos when u top every team wants to be the one to knock you off and play 10%~20% better than they normally would. Still played e and got the 2 points but that's last of the bad games now, everything going forward needs to be an improvement

I thought that the Huddersfield support was very good today.

Someone should tell the stewards then cos i saw them turning giants fans away from that area n directing them down the alleyway where the 2turnstiles were. Lots of unhappy people today complaining.plus they werent letting adults through one of them even thoughthere were no signs stating so.

The giants forwards weren't poor. Give the wakefield pack some credit for winning a forward battle today. Amor,Raleigh and Poore are playing well at the moment and will test many defences this year.

Amor just gets better and better and hopefully mcbanana will take some notice.

Was a tough game and I'm sure there will be some sore bodies on both sides tonight.

Believe me the Giants forwards were poor (by the standards they have set) not dissing Wakefield and overall best team lost.

Thought Amour and Ali went well for you guys and Raleigh had a point to prove and did ok. Didnt rate Poore and looked crocked to me, we never got any line speed or got in their faces with the big hits used to seeing.

Kick up time me thinks and lucky to get the 2 points today, but if play that bad and still win it ain't all bad, can't afford another lacklustre performance this season though
