Glad to see PA given the opportunity and hope that he can carry on the good progress we have made over the last few years.

Difficult job to take over at a club where you have been assistant coach - but would hope that NB will ensure PA takes more direct charge than he has befoe to enhance his standing.

Good to see this announced to stop all the specualtion that we have had before over NB staying/going - what will Eddie have to say about the Giants now - he has been obsessed with the topic for the last two years!!!

The club are doing all they can to ensure there are no distractions this time.

Let's hope we can lift a pot in NB's last season but, no matter what goes on this year on the pitch, he has been top class for us and moved us forward in a big way.

McD winning the GF did no harm to the status of Brit coaching.Still don't know how he turned it all around.

It will be interesting to see how Wane gets on at Wigan,it is a similar situation with him having served a coaching 'apprenticeship' He has a huge act to follow after M.Maguire's efforts,huge.

For now though it's good that there will be no more tedious speculation about NB's intentions for 2013.

Well this season , I won't Miss our mid season media circus of "is he going or not ?", followed by poor results and numerous player interviewers saying that coach uncertainty has not affected their form.

I believe that when he and Purtill worked together that Purtill was the Brains trust and Anderson Mr Motivator.

Dont think Mr Boyd would give up is high powered job to take on that role but ya never know.

Why not bring in a current player as a player /junior assistant coach, someone late in their career with aspirations but having a couple of playing seasons left. Could be Uk player or Australian but the thought of being groomed by ND and PA as PA has been would be a very tempting carrot indeed I believe with the opportunity to be PA's assistant next season ......

SORRY !! I meant someone still playing and not necessarily with us a top class player who could give a couple of seasons then full time coach ... Brad Drew of a couple of years ago for instance !! Like wakey were going to do with Morrison or we could have done with someone like Steve Menzies for example.... Adrian Morley ? Jamie Peacock ?? Darren Lockyear ! ok wishful thinking !!

I'd like to congratulate the Giants in making this bold statement of intent by appointing an Englishman as head coach in 2013.
