I have already stated that Leroy should not play fullback. But I also feel that his skills are wasted on the wing, as for his tackling technique-have you ever considered this is a tactic and has been instructed his job is to slow down the play of the ball of players with speed and agility, he holds the player up whilst a second comes in thus allowing our forwards to get into position before the tackle is completed it's a tactic all teams are using following on from the refs clamping down on wrestling. the last time a giants fb ran the ball back fast and hard was a long time ago- even Paul Reilly looked nonchalant at times.

the club wanted to keep him, bradford offered big money so he went. left us short of a prop and in my opinion we are still short of a prop. thats why we see the likes of horne, faiumu and raleigh having to play out of position

yes we were ahead v batley when cudjoe scored but it was hardly comfortable..cudjoe put the game to bed with a magic try.

Some ridiculous comments, Leroy had an average start to the season but played well against Saints and Cas. He is probably the most naturally talented of our backs. I think he is a talented defender too! Griffin is our best prop for me. Has had a great season.

Just on the Griffin rumour it may have some legs . I was told last season that we were trying to sell him to Hull Fc so that we could get Willie Mason.

Between Mason and Sculthorpe ( with his injury problems) it looks like we avoided making two bad signings.

Would like to Keep Griffin but in Nathan we trust. At the begining of this season i am sure that there was a suggestion that we were possibly in for a top Aussie prop

Leroy has the skill,footwork and the hands,let the other outside backs do the donkey work on defence,of which they are very solid.NB had it right last year swapping Leroy between centre on attack and wing on defence.Then he changed it,but how many breaks/tries did Leroy set up for Jermaine in the early weeks before he switched him to the other side of the field.

Leroy is class for mine,but if he wants to be a truly great centre he will probably have to get more committed to the defence.

Don't like him as a fb now,and in all honesty don't think he wants to be there any more.

Sam Thaiday would be chased by everyone I would think. Strangely enough I know a lad up here who spent some time in Brisbane and knows him personally and still keeps in contact with him now. Maybe I should go have a word with him!

If you were at wakey you will have seen his tag rugby attempt to stop Luke george scoring. i do not want to 'derail' this thread so if anyone wants to explain why leroy's defensive effort on the george try was good defence maybe they will pm me _ i just cannot see it.
