thought the giants were the better team in the first half, had the field position but didnt make it pay..

whereas the start to the second half was shocking from us, penalties and mistakes... wigan taking advantage with 3 tries in 8 minutes...for me then the game was over!

if we had put the 80mins together like the first half we wouldnt of been far off.

I don't need to LISTEN to the comments because i can SEE with my own eyes it isn't high and there is photographic PROOF that it isn't high as well. That’s more than enough and far outweighs the views of Paul Cullen and some Shudds fan wanting to blood after watching his team get creamed by Wigan.

Giants bossed the first half against "injury hit" Wigan and were responsible for some schoolboy errors in the second that were capitalised on.

Some good Hudds performances especially from Brown and Grix. Mason also did a ton of work but minus points for the slap on Mccolorum with the ball in hand. Would have liked to have seen more Kev Brown kicks and less Brough. Drew was at a fitness level that was way below the requirements of this encounter and Broughy needs to learn to stay in the defensive line more.

A number of those half chances would have been tries on a different day. that's sport.

Wigan played well and Huddersfield didn't get the bounce of the ball when it mattered. Did Wigan deserve to Win ? The answer has to be yes. Really looking forward to the rematch and with NB's comments maybe a bit of Biff.

Their was no spark in attack but at the end of the day it was our defence that let us down. It has been good all season but when it really mattered yesterday it went missing. Cudjoe let Leulai run straight over the top of him and then reacted far too slowly to the ball bouncing of Farrell's shins allowing Tomkins to get there first.
Brough attempt at a tackle (i think on Carmont) in the build up to Pryces try was shocking.
Then from the bomb Richards caught no one seemed to react to it and the pass inside to Carmont was far too easy.

In the first half I thought we played well, our defence looked solid and I fully expected us to kick on from there but I god knows what went wrong in the first ten/fifteen minutes of the second half, we were fast asleep and when we did eventually wake up Wigan were home and dry. Not the sort of performance in that period that will keep us in the top 4, and a big improvement is needed if we're hoping to be challenging for any honours this season, and that's with or without Jammer, Falooga, Hodgson, Wild etc etc.

Yeah, we seem comfortable in 4th, but seem unable to unlock the teams above us, no matter who it is.

Just missing something else and as yet Brough isnt providing it.

I think we may well have missed Lunt quite a bit.

Can't disagree with anything there, the lad who I was sat with at the match was more or less saying the same thing, I really rate Grix and think he could be an outstanding FB, I really hope we get it right for Saturday.
