Same path as Elliott Hodgson he made an early impression then faded away. Connor might have done the same without the injuries I think Mason, Roberts and possibly Leeming might make it along with Sam Wood but Josh Johnson just lacks that something for me.

But at least we are now getting them and Andy Kelly is doing a good job but we are bound to lose some it's the nature of the beast.

Unless he is in the Hogson category we don't want him, we have enough players at the level lower, Same goes for Gaskell.

Your right there mate, It's a shame how it ended but Hey ho. I'm not sure about the crowds affecting us that much, They are now down to a level where they may not drop much lower even if we should be relegated, We could expect to have a winning side, and a lot of fans will turn up for that.

I can't for the life of me work out why Mr Davy has carried the club for so long, Only for a brief spell when NB was our coach did we ever get crowds that have come even remotely close to what's needed, yet he has soldiered on regardless of the dirge that has been churned out this season.
If some sort of miracle came about and we became a top side winning things on a regular basis the club would never do any more than break even, Even that i could understand to a point, there is glory and pride in bringing home cups and such and that might make all the money a bit more worth while, But to perform like the Giants have over the years, even allowing for winning the Hub cap and threatening in playoff's a couple of times, I think he has had extremely poor value for money.

However he is the owner and he has chosen to employ the people he does so you have to think he is at least happy with the Admin side of things. ( another mystery to me ) All in all a remarkable man, and for what it's worth I personally don't think he will kick it into touch even if we get relegated, If he had been the type to quit I think he would have done it long before now, He has certainly had cause.

It wouldn't be the end of my world if we did get relegated, It might even be a good thing in some ways, It would at least be a chance for a fresh start and a way to get rid of some over rated players who are never going to take us anywhere ( whoever the coach ) and as far as i know there is a decent Parachute payment anyway.

Sorry that's a bit off topic mate, regards players, i know nothing about this Mamo guy But going by what I've read he is no better than we have, neither are these others from Bradford either, the idea is to improve your players not just swap like for like. We are playing people now who couldn't get in a few other teams, If we are going to continue down that road, then we shall never get anywhere , it will just be more of Mr Davy's money down the drain, Glad it isn't mine " or yours ".

cant agree with the idea that Giants would have a winning team if they got relegated , if the team stayed together then yes probably be a great team in the championship but how many players will leave if they drop ? lets hope it doesnt happen and the new coach brings some decent new talent to the Giants, fingers crossed

I'm just basing my view on the opinion that Mr Davy would stick with the club, That is by no means a given, I just feel that in view of the fact that the team have delivered so little for him in S league and he's still stuck with it, he may carry on, I hope he does, I reckon he deserves to be remembered for more than the Hub cap.

Ken Might stick with the club but some of the players will certainly leave , i hope if the dreaded drop happens then Ken will still fund a full time team , we have to hope they dont drop ,, Keep The Faith ,,,,

There was a bit more to it than not given another chance. He left for other reasons and then set up his own business- which is actually doing very well!

Yeah I know he actually is good friends with the owner of my companies son (they played at victoria rangers together as kids and he also played pro until last season) and my company owner coached them with Elliotts dad. He has done bits of plumbing for us. He has turned out for Siddal a couple of times I think this season and played in the Bradford cup final for vics. I dont know him personally just keep up on a lot of amateur stuff in Bradford.

Back on topic anyway, I always thought on the bits I have seen Mamo is quite a dangerous runner of the ball I think he'd go well over here, and it seems with his versitility Randell would be a straight replacement for Wood, again from what Ive seen I think would be an upgrade

Randell injury prone, well i never!!, he could easily replace Wood then.

Some People said Rapira was injury prone....

Randell has a rib injury and has missed several games because of it, but he's hardly missed a game for the last 3 years apart from that, and a rib injury is hardly a chronic problem.
