It's pretty obvious the people of Huddersfield care not one jot about the town's professional rugby league team.

It's still a disappointment though, hardly having a go, the question is, without landing major silverware how do we get people to come?

Last week Leeds were "amazing and going to win everything"

They only put 2 more points on than we did

Our line speed was there
Our desire to win was there
We worked as a team
Our attack was split between Ellis and brierly and so tough to predict (unlike if brough is on then it'll be through him and end in a wonky kick)

More than they deserved after the Salford shambles. I said how they played there would decide whether I went again or not, but I did go again yesterday anyway. I watched Brierley carfeully yesterday, He supported every player taking the ball up on the left hand side, He got one offload from Lawrence that I saw and that was in the third quarter of the game, every other time he died with the ball, Never made any kind off attempt at all, and nor did anyone else.

The win is welcome and much needed, but being honest they are going to need to step up a few levels from that. Maybe it will give them a bit of confidence.

Seen Brierly at half and he's looked better than anyone else there in a dozen games this season

If brough has to play then brough and brierly together

Why not play brough at fullback?

I think Ellis plays better when brough doesn't play. If brierley and Ellis combine well at Batley then brough should have to wait for his time- his petulance should lose him his place if the others play well.

Brierley is not really a creator, he is a poacher, he supports just about everything, but you need people to be aware he is there and offload the ball to him. Brough is the creator in our side, OK he has not been at his best just lately, but who has, If it's a choice between Brough and Ellis, there is no choice to make, Think back to how many Tries he creates over a season, without him we would already be in the championship.

We need to learn to offload the ball, It's a basic skill, and we don't have a clue, Brierley must get sick of walking back onside, having run through a gap for nothing. He would be having a field day running off Fiaumu were he still playing.

I'm sure RS will be aware of what we need to do, but I expect he is still trying to get some self belief into them. Our future is in the balance at the moment.

What harm is a little bit more experimentation gonna do at this stage of the season
.....and weve still a couple more halves we could try there in the latter stages if that doesnt work

Ellis was poor on Sunday and these games are about winning and winning only Leigh, KR and Leeds we need our strongest team on the field as they are different sides to Batley and Featherstone no time to make players wait if they strengthen the team they are back in.

10-10 at LSV last few minutes you need to win the game Ellis or Brough it's a no brainer

Brough will over play everything and end up putting in a misplaced chip to their winger to go the length

Ellis had a poor time passing but we looked more balanced and way more composed with those two than a season of brough

Lord knows he's an amazing player on form, but he's been well off that this season imo

IMO our halves weren't required to do much other than keep the pressure on due to the opposition missing tackles around the motr.

Ellis and Connor got the structure spot on when required in setting up the Ormsby try.

now now he only did that against saints when it went to swift

Rickster was fortunate that the correct selections were forced upon him last Sunday.Now like he said get some true grunt up front and we might just finish top 3 of this comp.

I'm fairly sure Broughs chucked a few try assists this season against us


One thing I will say is brierly and wood know how to keep the ball in goal when it's kicked through too this season

As long as it's made clear to him he's no longer a ball playing pivot Broughy for 2017 hooker,you,I,and anyone who knows owt about this game realises it makes total sense

why we dont put bombs up for cudjoe to catch i will never know, can jump higher than most in sl
