Going away to a team like Huddersfield with your 2 half backs missing, both and two best 2nd rowers missing plus others is a very hard task, it's great experience for the you kids but I fancy Hudds by 3 scores

If it was Wigan you'd still expect them to win, same with Leeds, we have to be top of our game to beat either, Rhino's clear favourites, our half backs scrum half can't even get in the England team !

I don't think we will win comfortably, as much as I would like to ( again

) leeds always pose a threat, they have some good players capable of playing very well when it matters and some good youngsters who will be keen to impress.

Lets hope for approaching 10,000 - any news on ticket sales?

You are deffinately taking the p-ss here! You've had a great season so far and could (in theory) still win the double. Have some faith in your team and pack in all this ridiculous garbage about Leeds being favourites when EVERYTHING points towards a comfortable Giants win. Get a reality check.

Well after many years of watching Leeds trounce us, having looked at the squads and Leeds having 8 squad members from 20-31 we have no excuses for not winning handsomely on Sunday !!! No rugby league game is ever easy and complacency needs to be avoided.

For all of five seconds I almost felt sorry for Leeds as sorry as I will feel hopefully for the 'orrible' Mr Ablett if he plays in the channel occupied by Ukuma Ta'ai on Sunday because he won't need to wind Ukuma up like he did Joe Wardle.

We should christen this game 'no mercy' because if we are really lucky on Sunday and play well it should be 'pay back' time for all those years when it was Leeds turn to field a far stronger team.

With sutcliffe and burrow in the halves and mcshane at 9 I think they offer more creatively than in their last two meetings with us as the pace they will have gives them time and space especially in their kicking game which was lacking. Their forwards will probably make more metres as we will keep kicking early- but our centre / second row combinations will do the damage.
Bet ablett is looking forward to this - he could go against wardle who stood up to him, leroy or ferres who will leave him standing with some great breaks or the beast ukuma who'll run at him all game long!

We're not getting cocky or over confident because we're realistic enough to acknowledge that Leeds still have some quality in that squad.
If we all came on here shouting off how we expect to win we would be branded deluded and get the 'you always start well' taunts etc etc - not to mentions that lot coming on here IF we were to lose giving it back saying how we shouldnt have been too cocky blah blah...we cant win here so lets hope OUR players do the biz for us !!.

If you are going to be one of the top teams, which you are aspiring to be, you need to be able to cope with the tag of favourites. The fact you are trying to claim leeds are ''clear favourites'' despite absolutley everything being weighted in hudds favour, suggests you, not leeds, are trying to get excuses in early.

Let's examine the evidence

Leeds have half the first choice 17 missing
Hudds have had more rest
hudds are above leeds in the table
hudds have won the last 4 meetings, comfortably

Hudds are therefore clear favourites. You also have to take into account that this is a run of the mill league game, without anything riding on it, something which huddersfield thrive on.

No one has said Leeds are favourites have they? ( I am thinking the orevious post was tongue in cheek but he can correct me if im wrong) They have just acknowledged that we have to perform in order to get the points.
The last time we met there was plenty riding on it and we came up trumps there as well.
