| That was one of the best games on this season and a pat ont back to both teams. The discipline round the ruck was refreshing to watch without all the rubbish wrestling. Good fast RL is what all us fans want and the sooner we get rid of all that crap the better. Grixy is a Leyther and it warms my heart to see him playing at the top of his game. Come on Hudds break that stranglehold that the few have had over this competition.

| Superb football in that second half.Danny Kirmond, tremendous, should have started last week at Cas,not sure why was he left out after he had put himself about at loose every time he got the nod.
The ruck area defence still needs work in the first 20 minutes or the top 4 teams will take advantage.
But I certainly think we are back on track.Lot's of positives,Jacob Fairbank, looks like a great prospect.
Broughy top quality, kicking game, and the no look flat pass to the lead runners for 2 tries.
Back on track, and when we get the likes of LOD back then the play offs are a totally different comp when we start afresh.

| Silverwood is a joke!!!! Firstly better performance in attack, defence a little better, aggression 100% better. Right onto Silverdud, why wasn't Larne given the try? If they reckon he lost it then it went 2 foot backwards and Wood picked up cleanly and scored so why wasn't this one given? The Taylor one was dubious and Alibert gave this without hesitation. Today didn't have an impact but in a tight game dodgy officials can be costly. Always an issue when Silverwood, Ganson or Bentham have owt to do with it. Should be made to watch their decisions back and explain themselves, maybe would be too embaressed then to give a popular decision rather than a correct one

| Larne Patricks was a try any day of the week. 99 other games it would have been given and you're damn sure it would have been a try to Wigan lol.
And if that one wasn't then neither was the firt Rovers try.
Still, didn't matter in the end and what was most pleaseing was that we didn't dip when those calls went against us but actually lifted.
Still not up to early form, but effort was 100% and that's been missing for a while.
Well done boys.

Larne's was a try any day of the week, and also in a leap year,as you say Codey if golden boy Tomkins would have done similar no way would that have been chalked off.

| Put Larne in Cherry & White and that would have been given. Next season our alternative strip needs to be the Wigan home one.

That was the big thing for me today. We started poorly, failed to complete two of our three first sets, went behind twice and had a try chalked off that should have been given, but their heads didn't go down and they responded in just the right manner. Massive improvement. We need to build on it.

| The elder statesmen showed up well. Eorl, Griff, Raleigh, Horne and Gilmour all rolled back the years.

Yes struggled a little, but to be expected this early in his career, needs to time his runs better and avoid obstructions.

| Disappointing there was no minutes applause/silence for Doc Hooper as well. He was club doctor for a long time, a keen Fartown fan as well and he deserved some form of remembrance IMO.

| Thought it was gonna be one of those games where we score they score we score etc and in the end we were gonna get caught out !.
But we showed resiliance and pulled through and i agree about Kirmo...thought he was probably our best forward yesterday ( i dont class Jerry as a forward even though he probably makes more yards) i actually thought Kyle Wood looked comfortable too and obviously is benefiting from a few 1st team games.
Horne looked half decent too yesterday
and Andy Raleigh can't be overlooked after that show
Pleased to come home and pleased with a win with a very weakened side too.

| Kirmond was great but Fooey ran the show IMO.
Raleigh ran and tackled hard, shame he had the ball stripped as he deserved the try.
Wood showed some good sense and maturity, certainly deserves his spot at the moment.
Griff, Patrick and Crabtree had their best games for a while.
All in all good stuff, not back to our best but on the way back up.
I think LOD and Doof are going to have to earn their places back.

| well Horne proved the point last night.... we need a big strong pacy centre not horne but someone a class above..... big pats on the back to Eorl, AR, GH, SG, LR, GM, smaller ones to larne, KW, and two outstanding ones to DK and a man of the match performance from the FOO........ showing once again that he is without doubt the best overseas signing we have made in recent years.....
had we played like that at 'cas' we would have won going away...... i have to question Joe wardle at centre.... horne got exposed by webster for pace but mainly cos Brough shot out of the line and opened the gap..... but in general looked better than JW has done recently.... but onwards and upwards it makes the saints game interesting.....

agree faiumu right up there with the best
that webster try was a shocker, grix should of at least made an attempt and horne gave him abit too much room
dont forget horne had a shocker at centre v wire not so long ago, one good game doesnt make him the best centre option but was brilliant last night
