Hughes may very well have wanted to stay- his wife/girlfriend may have had her input, the commute itself may or may not have been a hardship to him- it may have been a hardship to his missus. I would imagine bodgys missus had made friends and didn't want to move again. Horses for courses and everyone's circumstances are different and will have different considerations.
We had no choice to bring back Patrick if Wigan didn't want him- he was contracted to us. we don't know whether him not staying was down to a transfer fee or whether Wigan just didn't want him- WE DONT KNOW, ah but what Wigan say in the press is believable- that's different to what hudds do when it's reported in the examiner?!?

Brilliant. Fat chance of bringing my young lad next season, was hoping to give him his first taste of RL next season.

Doubt I'll get to more than one or two games next year.

It might be a better time for others though.

Friday is not ideal and may cause me to miss the odd game. However if the price i have seen for the Brittania Rescue of £119 is correct it represents great value and i will be purchasing.

i've warmed to Friday's over the years. used to prefer Sundays but it takes up a big chunk of the day and there are so many competing options. Also there is a much better atmosphere at the John Smiths for a night game.

the price is also a big bonus. that makes it half the cost of last season.

people have been asking the club to be more dynamic and i think this move ticks all the boxes

Bold move from the club and nice to see them try something different. What have they got to lose? I like Friday night games and means more of a weekend for me. Just need to decide which stand now...

what a price of £119 compared to last seasons £235, for this ken davy and the club deserve our backing. they could have just left it at the same price but they didnt..and its a big discount!

really pleased games will now be on a friday night too, much better atmosphere and if we win gets the weekend off to a good start! something about friday night games down at the john smiths



like davy says switching games from sundays to fridays for sky tv was causing problems , that has now been fixed by having a permanent day now.

Take him! Both my kids been going whatever the day from three weeks old. Never had any issues - there's always so much going on- even if they werent interested in the rugby itself. They've both been brilliant sleepers too- sleep through owt now!!!

it worked for the football club.. hope we get off to a flyer like they did and it snowballs. wagner came in half way through a season like stone and he got backed by the fans, we should do the same
