Lers blame the ref before the game starts. Then we can wind the fans up that the ref is the problem, then we can get into the players heads that the ref is the problem, then we can get brough wound up the ref is the problem, then on the game day we can boo the ref the first time he penalises us and before we know it the players and fans have given up before the game is over,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, alternatively we can look at things we can control. That is we need to be two scores better than the oppo to make up for ref's mistakes, we need to stop giving away ridiculous penalties and Anderson tells Brough to stop mouthing at the refs and concentrate on his own performance ( his goal kicking and short kicking game might be a start)

say the same thing everytime we have childs and bentham, seem to have it in for us.

hopefully we get a few calls go our way this time, after the video ref decisions against leeds and now the catalans ones i wont hold my breath!

I quite agree we've had a lot of decisions go against us (including the video ref calls against Leeds and Catalans and the final Widnes try that looked clearly in touch that it could be said have cost us points) but I just hope no one at the club is kidding themselves that these, and referee performances in general, are the reason we appear to be so inconsistant this season. The level we were at for large parts of last season meant we didn't need to worry about some of these decisions going against us - we need to be concentrating on getting back there rather than looking at referees.

wardle out for 4/5 weeks injured, would think murphy can slot straight in, stronger in defence anyway if not in attack than wardle, though not played at centre for a while

bad news about wardle,but we do have options.
murphy as a straight swap
ferres or lawrence to move to centre and fairbank/aspinall to replace them
or
even bring jake connor in? he's playing centre for the 19's i think and has shown he is more than capable of playing at this level.

personally i would bring murphy in,i think he was unlucky to lose his place anyway.

Sounds like Lunty will be back providing he gets through training today and Saturday with no ill effects- hope he's raring to go!

He couldn't wait when i spoke to him last week, him and Larne joking how the team had missed them both...maybe they were right, time will tell !

remember last season we basically waved the white flag to get set for the leeds rhinos clash the week after in the cup..

strange how we have another big cup game next week again, hope its not a similar theme here.

And we usually beat Wigan at home.

Trust me, I've only missed the Hull game so far this season, we are seriously clueless.

Saints gave us a lesson.
Leeds game we would have won if Briers and Hodgson directed attack. Tonnes of possession but clueless in the final 20 metres.
Hull game, Hull stink at the moment and we won by 2 points and only just held that.
London were beating us at HT and only for our fitness did we run rings around them in the 2nd half.
Salford, key players missing and looked disjointed plus Tim Smith having one of the worst games I've seen him play helped us win.
Wigan game we only scored because of a Wigan error, if we'd played for 6 hours straight it would have finished 4-(something).

If you can get to 18 points, you'll win this game because we can't put it together in attack at the moment.

jake connor not in the under 19's squad for tonights game... could be involved this sunday? or in the 19 unless hes injured.

You've won more games than we have this season. You've beaten us something like 9 in a row. Yep, we're clear favourites.

I wouldn't worry, we are absolutely gash at the moment, you'll batter us and I can't see us scoring in double figures.
