If evening KO's are not good for our fans why didn't we KO in the daytime?

I always assumed because, due to the amount of Methodist chapels in the area, Good Friday has never been a traditional holiday in Huddersfield. Certainly when I used to work for a manufacturing company we always got Monday and Tuesday off and not Good Friday.

78 fans less than last season and I bet the away end as never been so empty for a Cas game. Somehow I think the home attendance was up from last season. Still it was not good enough. We are a top side now and should be pushing towards that magical 10k average, not settling for similar to last season.

Eh give them a little credit there was actually double that. But we actually expected 4 times that.

I was really shocked at the amount of fans in the south stand given that they've often travelled so well, whether on tv or not. But those in the south should still be congratulated as almost all seemed to think it was a foregone conclusion they would lose, but were there to support their team!

In all fairness to Far Town, our turnout was predictably (& some may say justifiably) woeful.

That's an irellavancy, you also arent very bright.

Cas brought probably the worst away following i've ever seen at the pharm by a local side. Not having a go at Cas, just using this to illustrate a point. We have been told regularly by the expert fans at other clubs that it's only the away support that makes our crowds anything like. Last nights was almost all Giants. Not great I know but a hell of a lot better than early Superleague and with just home fans. WE DON'T DO NIGHT TIME GAMES. Everybody clear? Leeds, Wigan and Hull etc might have fans that go to the game then out for the night. A lot of our fans would rather stay at home with a mug of cocoa. Should we ever win a major trophy or two then hopefully we will attract more younger fans. My mother won't attend night games and I know she is not alone. We will just have to live with it. There are worse supported teams than us who dont have a local soccer team pulling 14000 fans in their direction so I'm not to upset at the mo.
