In the meantime try googling Rl hall of fame, Huddersfield RLFC ( look out for the team of all talents)
or Harold Wagstaff.

| For a club with ambitions of being one of Super League's top clubs and basing the team around British talent, i find this a strange signing.
Lunt and Faiumu with Carlisle in reserves can easily handle the hooking role and Brown and Robbo the halves.

I am concerned that Browns injury is serious and that he will be out longer term. We need some cover in the halves and at Hooker. Drew gives us that.

Absolutely spot on he should never had left the club when he did and one of the best Aussies we have had imo. Would be well worth a one year contract as he would support what we have already.
In Nathan Brown we trust!

Disagree. I think we lack a top qulaity half back. However i don't think Drew would be a good signing. I would rather push Robinson to hooker and bring in a scrum half. Otherwise we will be weaker next season as Drew i don't feel will perform as well week in week out as Moore has doen this season.
The Brown injury only complicates things further and with Fulton leaving we could be very short of creative players at the start of next seaon but i still question the wisdom of resigning Drew.

If we do sign Drew it will be because Brown thinks he can do a job. Brown knows what he's doing.

| I think it's obvious what's happening here. Switching Robinson to hooker long term, who would be the ideal candidate to train him up and pass on a few tricks of the trade? Baring in mind the similarities in body shape and playing style, Drew would be the ideal guy to mentor Robbo in his new role. Thoughts?

He has not been injured a lot this year so you were wrong in your earlier post. But hey ho, do not let facts get in the way of your prejudices
If in doubt 'make a joke'
You are right in thinking I rate BD. Anyone who has seen him play this year knows he is still a quality player. I guess Nathan Brown is one such person.

I can second that for you !
Scott wants to be playing in prefered position of scrum half, with brough at the helm for us he has no chance of gettint the number 7 shirt on a regular basis. He also likes to play at full back, but again, he cannot get in there because blaymire is light years ahead of him in that department.
he has got some footballing ability and therefore with that in mind, was pushed into wearing 13 for us, but with demetriou playing at 13, this forced grix out onto the wing - where he is not happy.
with his prefered positions being 1 and 7, it begs the question who will drop out and why? i dont think he is as good a 7 at robinson and he certainly isnt as good a number 1 as brett hodgson...
in all honesty, im struggling to see the sense in you signing grix, he's a squad player and under nathan brown youve moved on a level, couple that with browns contacts in the NRL and the talent in the reserves (hemmingway).... i thought you'd be going for a top class player....

| am sorry but i think we would be taking a step back by signing brad drew
he would be 34/35 if he played for us next season, n personally i think that is way too old for a number 9
he gets injured a lot, n doesnt produce the magic that he has done in the past
dont get me wrong, he was a great player for us when he played for the giants, like someone else said, one of the best aussies we have every had, but if we want to be pushing on next season and trying to overcome the rhinos and saints n putting ourselves in better contention for a grand final/cc final thatn we have done this season, then i think we need to look else where.
we have lunt/carlile/fauimu/robinson that cant fill in as hooker, why waste our money on another hooker which would also take a place on the quota system?
after saying all that though, brad drew is a quality player, but i just think we would be going in the wrong direction by signing him
