Well I haven't a clue what's gone on but hope it can be sorted out soon. Griff's a big player for us and was hoping he'd step up another gear this season and make an England spot this Autumn.

Maybe we have a coach who has good strength in depth in the forwards and is playing horses for courses and saving Griff for another team on another day?

Griffin is our best forward. With Eorl out If Brown wanted him to play he would. Brown does not want him to play quite rightly.

However we need to get it sorted quickly and to sign another prop. We are too light in the forwards now. Any more injuries and we have big problems.

however i think Brown is superb in the management of the situation. His interchanges at Bradford were the sign of pure genius.

I look forward to the situation in 3 years when we have a proper Brown team. I will judge him then but so far he is superb.

Danrill,i think you will find that 1 of our frontrowers has made 226 mtrs more and over 50 tackles more,and has only played the 1 more game,mate irest my case.

And fair play to that frontrower who has had a great start to the season. But let's not try and twist things into something they're not eh. I know how stats work and I know how to break them down. Whatever has happened has happened but let's not start trying to paint a picture that Griffin is crap.

And Griffin has made more metres than either of the other two available and appeared in one less game than one of them.

The player you mentioned has also missed more tackles, made fewer tackle busts, fewer offloads and given away more penalties.

I dont need to get any case working again mate the Stats dont lie,its the overall work rate the counts, i am not saying Griff is a poor frontrower but by the look of things the Coach is and he is the one picking the team.Lets hope it gets sorted sooner than later for the good of the team.

The coach not picking him could be for reasons other than his form though, couldn't it.
