wigan fans think its ok to do it untill it happens to them they thought lockers double forearm to robbos face was fair untill ablott did it to there golden boy then its a 3 match ban lockers cheap shot on the smallest player on the field and didnt even have the ball when struck didnt even go on report and now there crying over someone standing not stamping on someones foot what is it 1 rule for them and another for everyone else

If it hadent been on tv nothing at all would have happened,it goes on in every game evey week and if big baby feilden and carney ant made such a fuss we would not be disscusing it on here.

Ablett's hit wasn't as bad as Mason's trample. Tansey's tackle WAS worse. Ablett's ban, for a player as clean as he, was perhaps 1 too many. Mason, for a player as dirty as he, is lucky not to have got more. Tansey should have got 4+ in my opinion.

Mason deserves all three matches, and I would hope any appeal would see an extra match added on due to the blatantness of the incident, and a urine-extracting frivolous appeal.

Bailey should maybe have got 1 match based on his past record, but it was NOWHERE near as bad as Mason.




He put enough on. And even so, it's a disgraceful act, anything of this ilk should be (pardon the pun) stamped out. If a player feels he has to do this, or perform a chicken-wing tackle, or grab a player by the balls to try and gain some "advantage", they don't deserve our great game, and aren't welcome.



Nothing much said by Sky or the RFL/Disciplinary either. Or maybe your club didn't see anything in the incident and didn't consider it worthy of reporting?

it is always great when you confuse facts with your own ignorant opinions.
I have just checked back to 2003 (which covers his entire career other than his spell at Wakefield) and that is his first ever yellow card. He also has one red card back in 2007 but that is hardly the record of a dirty player. His penalties conceeded are not overly excessive for a forward either.

Well its been pointed out on here how Dirty Joel Tomkins is. Hes been Sin Binned once and that was for dissent and never been sent off not bad for a Dirty player!

But he does lead the penalty count by some margin doesnt he.

Tompkins is giving away a massive amount of penalties though unlike Mason. I wouldn't say he is dirty though he maybe just needs to work on his discipline.

you cant really go by penalties when classing someone as a dirty player seeing as they could just be for laying on or being offside i dont think tompkins is a dirty player at all not compaired to people like ryan bailey i think tompkins is just a bit green still

Whereas O'Loughlin is a dirty player and rarely gets penalised for it.

Unless that's what you're suggesting, of course. If a Huddersfield fan was happy it wasn't late, then I'd be happy to say that ok, you're right, and no penalty should have been given at all. Even though I disagree.

Nowt like stating the obvious, of course every Wigan fan would say that, there isnt a more one eyed set of fans in the game

It was late, it ended up high, it wasnt called for, penalty at the time was good enough for me

And as I said, IF we were so "one-eyed", we would have said it wasn't late at all. We conceeded that it was late and got the penalty it deserved.

Predictable, transparent and biased stuff from the supposedly unbiased Wigan fans, who think being a big club entitles them to do as they please, be above the laws of the game and to tanty like good 'uns when they lose as they have done all week.

Unfortunately you picked on the wrong Wigan fan, I AM unbiased, and call for discipline from all quarters of Rugby League, including my own club. Unfortunately you are so predictable, transparent and biased you can't see it, and some of your fans even dare to stick up for Mason's exceptionally dirty play. How you can have the nerve to say we're biased is frankly staggering.

And why exactly would we "tanty" as you put it?

We lost by two points, despite many many decisions going against us. A team that should have been down to 12 men (Mason, obviously). Partly our fault, obviously, as we lowered our game to your level instead of forcing you to rise to meet us.

It was probably Wigan's worst performance of the year, and one of Huddersfield's best... yet still you won by only 2 points?

Personally I take heart from that, not "tanty". Mason got what he deserved (well, some of), and I suspect you will drop below us in the fairplay index, where you belong, especially with a coach who has announced he is an advocate of thuggism.

It is good to see the Wigan-trained contingent of your club are doing so well.
