Think until yesterday we have had a pretty good run of luck with injuries this season so far - compared to other teams. Time for others to step up for us, and let's get 100% behind them as supporters.

Take Brown and Lunt out of that team as both have injuries ( i would rather lose the game than have them exacerbate injuries) and it looks a lot more lacking in direction.

If we play a conservative game and beat them down the middle we may pull it off but whatever happens we will not be able to play our usual game.

I wonder if Robbo might double up.

Personally i would love to see McNally at full back with Grix and Leroy in the halves

Normally id agree with you but this week, we really are struggling to get a 17 out, gonna be a young 17 at that, be closer than you think.

Will it be the young 17 who beat us in the pre-season friendly?

Beating Huddersfield is a boost we could do with, but I just don't see it happening.

i've been thinking about this,
should we have some massive crisis on our hands come sunday, would it be worth playing a few of the kids/squad members and potentially losing the game or do we try and get players on the field thus risking more injuries that could cost us later on?
or would losing a regular round game to wakefield do us more harm than losing in the play offs

I would rather lose to Wakefield and win games at Saints, Wigan, Wire or Catalan in the cup.

The bigger picture is September/October, we must do now whatever we have to, to give us a better chance later on in the season, tbh i dont think we'll have that bad a side out sunday anyway.

They'll be no need for players to back up, our squad is big enough, the one thing bout playing the younger ones is complacency wont set in, they'll be picked to impress.

The pre season friendly i seem to remember Greg Johnson was playing for you and he had a really good game.

This is exactly the sort of situation NB was preparing for with the rotation policy at the start of the year. When he does have to put some of the younger players in, like potentially against Wakey, most of them will have SL experience and hopefully be more confident.
