admit you are wrong about those clubs who you said were second rate but have all won silverware since you last did.

The very same clubs that Leeds fans posted the reply "We should be beating clubs like this!!!!!" after getting their @sses whupped by em.

I think we do have a deep squad full of versatility and depth, but i doubt anyone on this Giants forum has already booked their Grand Final tickets, we live in hope rather than expectation, and i think one or two of the people on here are more excited by the strides we have made over the past two years, where we could have expected a battering of 'the big four' where as now we are disappointed with a loss.

Anyone who says we are better than Leeds or whoever else can have their say, we have all seen in super league that on their day anyone can beat anyone. The key to league success is consistancy something we have lacked previously but seem to be getting better at. And the key to winning trophies is big game experience, nerve and star quality, which has been our major downfall. Slowly but surely we are getting more big game experience and if we carry on as we are we may be getting to the Grand Finals etc.

I wouldnt say we are at Leeds standard yet, when leeds are hot, they are unstoppable, and come the business end of the season, when the ground firms up and the sun comes out, im sure Leeds will be back up where they belong. But for now, we are looking good, with four better fixtures coming up we have reasons to be cheerful. Lets enjoy is while we can, as RescuedBlue says we havent won a trophy for 48 years, but this looks like the best chance we have ever had...

Yes indeed the same fans, whilst some Leeds fans arrogance is vulgar it is understandable due to Leeds unpresidented success in the current format of the game! one bad season or a poor run of form does not change what Leeds have done.

the same goes for the giants, having an unsuccessful season in 09 followed by indeferent form in 2010 facing losses to hull, wire and saints. forget Leeds injuries we have been poor and you are only 4 points in front of us! You have no grounds for getting cocky. As I pointed out to Code 13 all the teams he called second rate, cas wakey and hull fc have all won silverwear since you last did?(note his inability to admit when he is wrong) you can add saints, Bradford, Wigan, wire and hull kr to that list of teams who have won trophies since you last did, plus other teams in lower divisions taking major honours whilst you have done nowt. even Catalan made a final and have gone further than you in the play offs!

as a bunch of fans you are pretty deluded! And some of you completely give yourselves up showning a small club mentality trollin and skiting other teams fans for nothing more than poor form, whilst your own club has been little more than also rans with some up and down form.

Unfortunately some of our fans have allowed their excitement to get the better off them and unfortunately have done it on other teams forums.

Whilst i have some sympathy for them as many have watched Huddersfield for years and are only now seeing us being genuine competitors to the big teams etc they have gone overboard.

My view is simple WE HAVE WON SOD ALL YET so whilst i am positive about the season and the future i am keeping my exuberance in check for a while. when we win a trophy then i will strut around like a peacock.

Only when we have won a trophy will the steady development over the last 4 years be cemented firmly in place.

You could have structured a rather good argument based on the season as a whole and how Leeds perform better towards the end of the season and how Catalans managed to make the play-off semis after a disaster of a season in 2009.
