170k is the marquee amount for overseas players that counts on the cap. we know barba is getting over 170k as he’s classed as marquee.

Never said he would be a marquee player I was questioning how a few weeks ago Wakeman had to go on Loan to avoid gong over the salery cap and now there is room for Hastings, doesn’t symonds wage still count for this year?

I did hear Simon Woolford on thursday say that they are very hopeful but he has not yet signed a contract.
Until that signature is on the paper we cannot say we have signed him.
