He is a quality player, And has lots of potential, A good signing to pick up on the cheap

Ferguson is a good capture by the Mighty Giants, (and maybe murphy to follow) this does take us up near our salery cap (wakey thats the most you should spend prior to not signing any more players)

I was a little worried with only 2 major signings in the off season but 2 younge established SL players and with the way Keal played on saturday i really do think we have the strength in depth to take a title this year. well done Giants and well done to O'Hara's for a shrewd bit of business.

Over the weekend we have read on the wakey website and direct quotes in the press about a new owner. Even that the new owner had addressed the players! Now we discover the administrator is still the 'acting owner'. No wonder a young player like Ferguson wants to go to a stable , well coached club. I feel sorry for Wake though. At least a 4 point deduction [probably and now losing their top players, the future is even bleaker than before. I hope the new owner puts some money in and they can rebuild - albeit in a division below - as we have had to do [many times!. Even Fax are bouncing back.

decent signing i reckon looks to have plenty of potential, under the giants set up he should kick on to become a top class forward, i understand where wakey fans are coming from regards us taking there young players but thats sport im afraid, happened to the giants before when bridge and gleeson were cherry picked by the top clubs. but having said that ferguson could always have said no and remained at wakey like murphy has i believe.

with DF now a giant i do think this will help create more competition for the outside backs, the 2nd row is more competative within the giants ranks then any ther super league club, we can now boast a strong competative back line, with 12 players in the first team squad (not including Grix / E Hodgson / Mcnally at fullback) all hoping to get the nod on the 4 available starting shirts.

not a high horse at all.....i've watched my club escape closure 3 times !! my problem was when our 2 clubs were equal on and off the pitch the Wakey fans couldn't wait to give my club over the merger and the fact we werent relegated.
Some of the stuff and names our board and fans were called during this time was appaling and a disgrace............i wish all true Wakefield fans all the best and hope the club survives for them ...for the others, and they know who they are, i have no sympathy that they now may not have much of a club left to support ......they probably didnt expect it to come to this while they were dishing the abuse and disrepect at my club and now my club pulled itself up and is now a highly regarded, respected club were expected to have some sympathy for the people who wished death onto my club !!!.

Why would we be looking at Wakey's juniors? We've already invested heavily in our juniors and aside from our U16's Wakey's were the only bunch not to have any selected for the recent rep series. Methinks someone is talking trousers. Always someone else's fault, always poking at others and looking for sympathy themselves.
