| It was his milk bottle he threw the big headed baby .
As for kirke,im sure we all wish him a quick recovery.i dont understand why he had to wait to send him off ,if the offence was bad then why wasnt it an instant red?

| O'Donnell twice told Alibert that it was a clash of heads. One thing it wasn't was either his elbow or his forearm. He hit him with the shoulder. He would've had to be double jointed to hit him with anything else. It was a good clean hit. In Ice Hockey they would've called it a North-Souther. Hope Kirke's ok but the day we stop hits like that is the day I stop watching.

| Asked Danny McGuire how kirk was on way back after half time. Said he was fine - just precautionary checks etc. Thierry bottled it as usual and changed his decision when he thought it was more serious.
The difference today was...
Lod
Brough as captain
Fewer errors
Fewer penalties
And a team spirit
A very pleasant surprise today - and will keep me happy and optimistic over the winter
Can we repeat vs hull ?

| Apparently various club officials watched the video quite a few times. The only conclusion they came to was that it was a clash of heads.
Albert was stood 2 yards away and waved play on!

| i think Whingfield and the Whinos fans had a lot to do with Alibert changing his mind, he was put under pressure from them.

| Great effort from all the team today, always good to see rhinos fans leaving twenty minutes before full time. Thought Mason had a solid game today. What happened to him to cause the bandages? but can't fault him carried on playing and making some good yards

| Tbf code it could have happened by his own teammate kneeing him in a tackle for instance.
Leeds completely missed a trick today- with a man down we should have seen a plethora of cut out passes and quick ptb- instead the midget just ran sideways along our line and a forward trundled it up the middle. Leroy was down as FB but grix played there for the majority he wasn't put under any pressure at all from kicks.
Our outside backs completely outplayed theirs and our backing up today was great.
The one thing that made the difference today- lack of errors!

| Grix also spent a large portion of the game at SO.
Shame no-one has mentioned how well he played today. After Fooey he is the one player who can vary his pass in a disguised way. And his set up for Robbo's try?

Grix had a good game, is a class player but some people just love a scapegoat and unfortunately Grix gets a load of unfair grief.

| To be fair he is a good player, but not a good stand off, a few times yesterday he ran along the line looking for a runner but when there was none he seemed to panic and throw a needless pass, one to robbo stands out but he had a good game,as did mason who controlled his agression, ran hard and tackled like a madman

Very true, 6 weeks ago I thought he had had his day (at least with us) and nice to be proved wrong. Whatever Anderson did to restore his confidence bodes well for his future man management skills.

| 12 against 14 today for about 65 minutes and we tore them a new . Unbelievable! I can't express my hatred for losers like JJB enough, play the game fair and you have my respect. Players like these should respect how good they have got it, sometimes you get the calls sometimes you dont, he did yesterday but because he plays in a team who have had to watch their own deterioration he gets frustrated and blames it on everyonebut himself.
Makes the victory even sweeter!

| It was never a red card. But...
It is worth bearing in mind that while Fartown were playing with 16 after the dismissal, after Delaney got injured Leeds were down to a 2-man bench and 15 players. In that heat, it was bound to have an effect.
Fundamentally though, Leeds were a disorganised rabble and Fartown were on fire. I was very impressed with how they started the game - they really came flying out of the blocks. Brett Ferres, in particular, was fantastic.

| I think the injustice spurred the rest of the team on for sure and at 10-0 we showed signs we might start to get sloppy before the red card and after it was given we tightened right up and saw out the sets well.
Perhaps the result would have been similar without it but it galvanized us far more than it did them and certainly it made the win that much sweeter.
As long as the Disciplinary Committee see sense and say the red card was sufficent punishment then no harm done and it has set us up well to really take the game to Hull and put the play off campaign on the front foot.

| It shouldn't be sending off sufficient. The red card should be rescinded. The next time we play Leeds we should be able to play with 14 men for 65 minutes to make up for it.

Something I've noticed about Scott Grix is when he has his confidence up and he plays on instinct, like his set-up for Robinson's try, then he can come up with some fantastic plays and displays of skill. He also has the second best kicking game at the Giants.

I did think about the wording but rescinded/sufficent etc its all pretty irrelevant in the scheme of things as there is no come back for a wrong decision and love your idea but we would probably end up playing an extra hooker anyway so it would end up being counter productive

Very true he is not the same player he was a few weeks back after making a few errors and certainly struggles to shake off the memory of when he has made an error but hopefully a few games like yesterday and he will shrug off any errors he makes and bounce straight back as I think if he had cost us a few points earlier in the game Robbo's try would not have happened.
