| I have criticised Grix on numerous occasions this season (all justified imo) but I wanted to come on here & give credit where credit is due. Grix was MOM tonight for Fartown. All he did wrong was pass too early before taking the line on. But that's just nit-picking. Other than that he was faultless.
Well done lad.

| Great win but but why did Brough run back toward Charnley on his interception. Blew a definite try. Having said that the all round performance today was brilliant

Smurph ran the wrong line there & came in field. If he'd have hugged the chalk it would've been a nailed on try. Unlucky.

Everyone knows the League leaders are the genuine champions.
I enjoy the play offs, but a team that has a spawny win can win the play offs from any position down to eighth, therefore it should just be classed as an end of season play off, it can still be called the grand final, but not champions. As a full seasons consistency should have more recognition as in other sports.

One man team then.
Having said that, would Tomkins have taken the balls that Hampshire did. We all know Tomkins is a bit dodgy under a high ball.

Everyone doesnt know that unfortunately. The record books will back the whole 'Champions' thing up. The hard work starts now. It sounds more to me like you don't fancy the playoffs and want to stop the clock right now.
Oh, and most sports don't work like that. Football is actually in a minority.

| Well done Huddersfield, the better team on the night won.
Rugby desperately needs new winners.
I desperately hope it is Huddersfield.
As for Wigan, close down Charnley and they struggle.
Can't stand them or their coach ... what an oaf!

Sorry you couldn't be further from truth if you tried.
Try turning 180 degrees.
If this were the case do you honestly believe that Wigan would have not started without Tomkins and Lockers?

| Well done tonight. I started the game wanting Wigan to win, as being old fashioned, I want us (Warrington) to win the league. I see the GF as a bit of a side show. Thought I was going to have to take a shower after the game, but as soon as it kicked of I was routing for you. I wont need to take a shower for a least a week now.
Can't see you dropping a point from now on, and I hope you will now win the league, and it will drag the people of Huddersfield through the turnstiles, and we can have another 10,000+ supported team in SL, you have the stadium for it.
You dominated Wigan tonight, who are a poor side without a few key players. I don't agree with what's been posted on their board about them playing badly. I think they played a well as you allowed them to, you are a better team, simples.

| Great performance tonight, and totally deserved the win.
Have always agreed with what has been said about finishing top of the league. This is the team that are true Champions. The champion team is the best team over the full season , not just the last three games of the season.
Having been a supporter over 50 years, I have refused to be brainwashed by Sky into believing that the " champions" are the winners of the Mickey Mouse cup.
After last year, despite the result, the whole experience of Old Trafford was like a pre season friendly, and even if we get there this year , myself and the 4 others who I went, with won't be going again, even if we get there.
Until we all pull together to wake the RFL up to this, unfortunately I feel or great game will decline.

The experience of the Grand Final was like a pre-season friendly?
If your team were actually competing in it you would have felt differently.
The rest of your post is cringeworthy and ignorant of RL's history, his despite your claim of over 50 years spectating.
As another poster pointed out, yours' and a lot of your fellow posters sudden attitude towards the playoffs stinks of 'stop the clock now while we're at the top'.
When you've experienced a win at Old Trafford you will understand.
The RFL don't need to realise anything with regard to the Grand Final, have you ever looked at the attendance figures? - an undeniable success.

| What a performance that was ......players, fans and coaches can be rightly proud of that - the effort by everyone was immense, in a way we had to win last night just to prove the doubters wrong, another defeat and the same old 'wheels are coming off', the 'bubble's burst', 'hudds cant win big games' lines would have been trotted out - as it is we have put one huge stamp on Super League saying WE are the team to beat !!.
The ease in which we did it too was suprising - i dont buy this Wigan had so and so out, they had a team on that field that was good enough ot beat anyone, your not telling me on a big game and big night for the Wigan club with that crowd in that the coach chose to lose that game ? rubbish, we battered em !!

The Wigan players, the same a their fans, were desperate to win last night. Of that there is no doubt.
It's true that Wigan were missing there 2 most important players, certainly one of them would have made a big difference to their attacking threat. Whether if Tomkins played or not would have affected the end result who knows, but it makes no difference - Huddersfield won.
If you go on to finish top of the league that is a great achievement and definitely there could be no doubts as to whether your a genuine force. I can assure you though, the feeling of winning the GF is incomparable, to be crowned champions after beating all of the biggest & best teams around in the most intense games you've witnessed, in the final game of the season with the whole RL community watching - this is what the players dream of.
