How bad were Salford worst I've seen down there this season. Funniest thing I thought was when they made a break in the second half their player with the line in front of him went on a maisy run in and out when it would have been easier to run straight forward for the line. bizarre.

Going back to the crowd I asked one of my regular customers (half time draw seller) if he was going to Wigan? The response was 'No can't be bothered'!! seriously!!. Maybe this is true representation of the apathy in Huddersfield.

The whole family went for a meal later on this evening -still in our giants gear- chap at the next table asked how we'd got on.. I suggested he might want to try a game out seeing as we were "top of the league" he replied he was interested how we got on but wasn't really a fan although had gone to the Leeds CC game, I suggested he tried it again he said he was a town fan really and couldn't afford as it was £26 a game(town) I informed him it was between £10 -£15 today and he replied "really" I didn't realise- he then commented it was expensive for us as a family -I then pointed out the kids were free as they were U12 and up to 16 was just £5 - he was amazed and said that's a great price I didn't realise!








He did ask me whether I was in commission when I kept saying- come down and try it out !!!!!

I wasn't having a go just saying how I saw it .

And this goes back to the fact the club can make all the deals they want - if no one knows its just pointless

Ferres had an ice-pack on his ankle at the end of the game. You'd have to hope that was just a precaution as he's been so good all year. Wardle exceptional again and that Brough step that had Lee Gaskell spinning like a top will last long in the memory. Totally bamboozled the boy.

Lovely cameo from Josh Johnson. He left the field with the biggest grin on his face and was clearly loving it. I hope to see plenty more of this lad in future.

Noticed grix limped off- that last kick by Salford downfield he was slow getting to it -wondered what he was playing at then noticed him limping, didnt notice a problem with ferres so hopefully it's precautionary- he hasn't been quite as devastating the last few games-could be carrying a knock perhaps?

Johnson was itching to get on the field, could see he kept asking Thorman when he was going on, was told 5 minutes, then there was a delay where he was going to go on then didnt- he was like a kicked puppy! one mistake but overall he did well -a try assist for the lad too!

Taai was not inconsistent , he`s poor every week .Cording , Furguson and Chan, if fit , are better than he is .

Yeah its not like he was are best player by a country mile when we played Widnes, Bradford and Hull KR

Give him a full pre season and he'll be quality next year always takes players from down under a year to settle.

Think Ukuma'a problem now is he is been marked out of the game by opposition coaches, they have probably seen the videos, seen how destructive he can be so are making sure he is hammered by 3 or 4 straight away.

Crabtree is targeted by the opposition , yet he doesn`t lose the ball in the tackle . At times it seems like the players have lost faith in him , against cas it was 20 minutes before he got a pass . On Sunday he was used as a dummy runner more often than not, can`t imagine it fooled the opposition too much .He`s a large human being and takes some pulling down , yet he doesn`t run hard , and can`t seem to hold onto the ball . Not sure how a full pre season will change the latter .

Agreed. Josh Johnson was excellent in the tackle and also seemed to bring some good controlled aggression. Looking forward to seeing much more of him.

Loved JJ's first tackle ball and all one man tackle and he really creamed the Salford lad, Koppy gave him a massive pat on the back/head, must have been a big confidence boost for him. Salford stuck at it with such a patched up squad, good warm up and another week of rest for Crabtree and Ferres before Wigan.

Just like to point something out to those saying Bruno does nothing in attack. 13 carries 108 metres, ferres 13 carries 102 metres, taai 12 carries 101 metres.

Looks like Bruno was just as good in attack and better defence!

I wasn't referring to 'stats' i was meaning he doesn't seem to break tackles, assist in tries, beat opponents anymore - maybe i should have worded it something like visual attacking stuff, things that make the crowds sit up and take notice.

Players that make crowds sit up and notice do so for good and bad reasons! Bruno is mr dependable- not mr flashy, all teams need mr dependables- eorl is a mr dependable- he certainly doesn't break tackles try assists beat opponents (even zak hardaker!) etc- but we wouldn't be without him!

Exactly, i wasn't complaining about Bruno, just stating that he doesn't seem to have that attacking flair he had when he was playing in the backs anymore.

That's because he's put on weight and is up against the bigger blokes, get him running out wide and things could be different!
