On Wolves , Rhinos, and, Warriors boards most would like to finish 4th, and play us, could be some interesting results if the coaches feel the same way

I can see why Wire would want that, but Leeds and Wigan??

Were they not paying attention to the beatings we've handed them this season?

As it is at half time dragons 6 Wigan 6! If dragons win...we will be not be able to finish lower than second as we will be 5 points above Wigan with two games to go.

Also Leeds finish forth, if we beat them and got the club call in the semis, if Leeds managed to win the preliminary semi (the second bite one) we could pick them again! Beat Leeds 5 times in a year! What would the odds have been on that!

But there are so many permutations for them to deal with because i think any team that finishes third will have a real challenge where as if you finish second at least you have home game

A few wqeeks ago if we finished 1st, l would have chosen Rhinos,, but recently the warriors look like a desaster zone
Wolves., and ,Rhinos have shown how they react, when you get in their face, all three sides look decidedly wobbelly
Then along come the Giants, and look equally so, against, what should have been a tryfeast Broncos.
So despite the Giants being the only one in the top 4 winning, they all seem to have the jitters, if we still have a player psycologist, he,s going to be needed, v wildcats, normally easy meat, but just the team (unpredictable) to spoil the party.

Rhinos, psycological advantage 3 wins, biggest gate
Warriors, Always look good, a mess at the moment, could change in an instant, good following
Wolves, we have to beat them sometime,

Beat rhinos in the first game there's no guarantee they are going to be around to pick for clubcall! I fancy saints and Catalan may still have something to say!

Maybe Leeds fans wont turn up as they expect us to fall apart when it matters and will want to save their money for OT ?

The majority of Rhinos fans have their OT tickets reserved through direct debit arrangements with the RFL.
We'll be there, you'll just have to avoid selecting us at clubcall time!

Long way off but would love us to choose Wire when it comes to ClubCall. It would send the message we fear no one and facing them at home would be preferable to at OT.


I know it will not happen but would love to put them on the back foot by making that call.

I said that last week, but we would have make sure we cane their backsides if we did that!

Depends if Wire win first match, sure I read that you can only club call from the winners of the 2nd week fixtures (the two top 4 losers v bottom 4 winners)

Nice one that one seemed up in the air for ages and glad you confirmed what the rules are.....as though we'd know what happens after week 2 (alas usually week 1 of the play offs)

we have a good record against both this season, id say wigan would prob be the easier of the two right now on form

There's a thread on the wigan board about both them and leeds 'throwing' next week's game so they can play us in the play-offs instead of wire .....brilliant isn't it. I dont fear anyone apart from Wire but we have to beat them sometime so i will take whatever the fixture list throws at us - i'll admit i haven't the foggiest who plays who and when in the play-offs i just look at the fixtures.

However, the other 3 teams in your section know the playoff structure inside out. Enjoy today, you deserve some reward for your efforts this season, but you'll not be visiting Old Trafford this season (unless you go as neutrals)

Funny how momentum isn't a factor anymore! Wigan are in poor form in the league. To go from 5 points clear to 'playing for fourth' shows how much in a slump they are and the fans are getting the excuses in early.

Wigan have won two games in their last 8. That's 4 points from a possible 16. Giants have won 7 from their last 8. Where would you rather be?
