It would be nice if Wigan decided they didn't want him next year.

Thought he had a very solid game, but what about Leroy, especially first half he made some great takes, in wet cold conditions.

Our chairman made it clear on our local radio after the game tonight that Lee Mossop will be back in Wigan colours next season.

Glad to hear he's going well for you though.

If I was a Wigan fan I would be demanding to know why he wasnt in them now and Fielden was still being paid.

We recognise and reward young British talent, not get rid and replace it with overpaid donkeys.

But you do not produce as much of it as Wigan and the restrictions of the cap mean we cannot keep them all.

Out of interest which young talent are Wigan weaker for, for releasing?

Teams need balance, Wild was poor for us after a promising start his knee injury set him back a long way. Teams need a defensive second row and a strike secondrow. Wild is a strike second row, so we are holding him against Hock. Hock every time. As a centre Wild over Carmont and Gleeson not yet.

As a squad player without the cap would have been worth potentially hanging on to but that is not the case anymore. his last 2 years he was poor at Wigan and had to go and would not be a significant improvement on what we currently have in my opinion. Next?!

Lee Mossop, I would have released Fielden and kept Mossop in the 17.

Wild is a lot more than a strike second row, he is one of if not the best defender in the league. No doubt you made a mistake letting him go!

What you gotta ask yourself is was this statement made in the press in the hope our chairman realises he may have to part with more money than he was hoping to have to pay get him??





We have all read the press before..."absolutely not interested"..."we will not be signing..." and hey presto 48 hours later..."Our latest coup is...." the one and the same!

There is a long time before next season so time will tell.

Am impressed by him though, thought he did really well.

Mossop will be back at Wigan next season. Wigan have the BEST squad of back row forwards in Superleague in Hock, O'Louglin, Bailey, Hansen and Tomkins.

Bailey will go at the end of the season to be replaced by Mossop.

Liam Farrell is the next one coming through.

Enjoy him whilst he is with you, he is a future International player, no doubt.

cant be that good if he cant get into a poor wigan side

Hock would get into any team in SL, O'Loughlin is just above average, Hanson and Tomkins below average. You're just being silly now.

I don't rate Hansen. I really like Hock though, and I think O'Loughlin is a tidy player.

Id say Hock is the best back rower in SL,O Loughlin has had a far better season this year.Hansen is just a tackler,not great in attack.I wouldnt say tomkins was below average hes a young player coming through and seems to score a few tries for a 2nd row.
