The whole situation is a debacle- it is quite clear they should have bit the bullet previously or at least sold players to cover debts.

Let's be fair and put forward a balanced viewpoint on our forum please.

Yes, Bradford have struggled financially for a few years now. The monetary rewards during their years at the top have been very well invested - remember the new section of wall in the beer tent to replace the section with a hole in?

It is obvious, with such grounds improvements, why the RFL took on the Wembley Of The North as its state of the art sports arena. There was once even talk of a large table being built over the open side - like the one at Wakey.

Bradford's team over the past few years shows why it is essential that Northern remain in SL.

In fact, I would go so far as to say, rather than punish them unfairly by deducting points in the forthcoming season, they should be given 20 points head start to ensure that our greatest team finishes in 8th spot, thus ensuring them a place in the play-offs. And, this [imight[/i be a little controversial, they thoroughly deserve to start each game with a 3 converted tries score, whilst their opponents start on -20.

Due to recent, unintentional upsetting posts, I must make it clear that these are my own personal views, backed by the 50 000 Bulls fans, and are in no way the official standpoint of HGSA.

If the Bulls pay off all the creditors left over from the old company then why should they face sanctions? With the HMRC not being paid and filing a winding up order, the Bulls have clearly neglected the RFL operational rules and as such face a misconduct charge. There may be a complications over this bill because of the ownership issues with Omar which has prevented them paying it - maybe they've accrued it in the new company ready to settle?

I just cannot see the Bulls paying back Omar his money (suggested to be circa £900,000) , Bradford Council (£200,000) with Omar Khan personally underwrote and the loan from a security company (£200,000) who became a shareholder of the old company to cover it.

It does appear that last season the Bulls were operating around £1million above their breakeven point in 2013 and therefore they should face sanctions and the agreed penalty for administration. They signed up to these rules and should abide by them. This has a massive impact on Wakefield and London who have not gone into admin and reduced their costs significantly hampering their chances of staying up at the end of 2014 whilst Bradford are allowed to gamble, lose and still keep their shirt.

they should do what crusaders did if things are that bad, but it seems they just keep plodding on in the hope that the RFL/fans etc will keep bailing them out, its sad to see a once great club like this, but its nobodies fault but their own. they chased the dream and got the glory and now they have to face reality, and that reality is that they didnt have the means to chase the dream.

What baffles me is they are obviously buggered financially but are still being allowed to sign decent players, surely if there is no money there the RFL should look into why they are still spending money and not sorting their finances out....or is it a case of they continue to turn a blind eye for this 'iconic' club ?

The RFL operational rules state that you must ensure that you pay HMRC. If RFL believe that a club may not be paying HMRC then they have the right to look at the club accounts and to put the club into special measures.

1. Why did the RFL not get involved when Bradford were paying their players late? A sure fire cash flow problem will mean HMRC isn't paid

2. Why, in the event of the Winding Up order from HMRC, was the RFL not involved at Bradford.

By not paying HMRC they have broken Operational Rules. They've taken that money from players and staff gross salaries and used it day to day. At the same time Wakie and London have had to struggle and offload players.

But....what happens if they didn't pay HMRC to bring the share situation with OK to a head? Then the Security Firm they owe cash to would be forced to push the company into Admin to try to secure their money What if this was sanctioned by RFL as it was only way to remove OKs stranglehold over club? Then should they be penalised for sorting it out?

One thing we do know: Omar Khan has lost a fortune to Bradford Bulls in his tenure and he believes he is owed that money. I can only see this being settled in court.

Its a joke anyway that this has been allowed to carry on for so long, its also sending out a message that badly run clubs will be tolerated in this sport as long as the name is big enough !

Bradfud are a joke, and are now taking the p*ss out of the RFL, if this had been Wakey or Cas action would have been taken and points deducted by now. This is the team that in the past totally ignored the salary cap to "buy" trophies, cried and begged with buckets when they went bust the first time, kicked and screamed "conspiracy" when they lost part of the Sky money for going bust again, and now when they're on the verge of going broke again do they cut the cloth accordingly ?? No the arrogant Bulls instead of offloading players to cut costs and live within their means like Wakey have just carry on in their own arrogant way regardless, Despite letting everybody know how skint they are they go out and recruit more players they can't afford and continue to moan and groan a bit more about the "Sky" money and how hard done by they are, and hey presto they go bust again. No doubt with this being a relegation season for some, the bulls will be hoping they can play the "hard done by" story and the gutless RFL will once again bail them out and turn a blind eye to the dodgy dealings going on at Odslum so they can avoid the dreaded drop.

Not sure what people think of my view but the only thing that will work is what they do in NRL for salary cap breaches.

They should impose a 40 point deduction on the Bulls, if they appeal it becomes 80 points. A little harsh but it might make people think twice than to live beyond their means!!!!

Your right it's like the criminal justice system in the country, steal a car and you get a slap on your wrist and a £50 fine.
So guess what you steal another and get another £50 fine and guess what you steal another, in Dubai you steal a car and get your fingers chopped off so guess what ? You can leave your car keys in the dash in Dubai and your car does not get nicked ! If the punishment fits the crime, there would be less crime.
