Hope you're right. Was going to buy the shirt last season until I saw it up close with the stupid collar!!!
Good on the club getting the shirt out in plenty of time and hopefully it looks good and will sell well.

Great news, I'm hoping it is something like the original team of all talents shirt, i'm not one for conspiracies, but i do like talking rubbish..... and i've noticed the closer we get to the original shirt, the closer we get to silverware, look back to 2006/2009 and this year, our shirts were about as claret and gold hoops as they have ever been, maybe a proper Fartown shirt will see us lift a trophy?!

It better not have white numbers on a pale background again......

Well if you want one, we better get down there quick as you don't want to be like this season where you couldn't buy one for half the season.

Good shirt and the sponsors panel has been well thought out, it sits nicely between two of the hoops. Can't see the numbers but they look to have avoided the "white on yellow (sorry gold)" problem on the front.

I suppose it's too much to ask that they will wear white shorts with it. Still can't have everything.

What we need now is a totally insane alternative shirt like two years ago.

The collar lets the shirt down for me. I don't mind the style of it but the white colour doesn't match the shirt well and it looks like it was just stuck on at the end when they'd run out of claret and gold fabric.

I like it, great to see we have gone for tradition in the 100th anniversary of TOAT rather some horrendous eyesore. My only gripe is the sponsors logo, it spoils it for me - too big and the colour doesn't match and it looks out of place.....still they have paid their money etc.

Wont be buying one myself as i have my retro shirt but this should sell well !!

The new shirt is very good. What we need to do now is have the away shirt white , with a claret gold claret hoop in the middle like the good old days when we were a team to be feared

Really liking the new shirt. Love the retro feel and the collar. Yeah, the sponsor's logo is a bit big, but that's unavoidable.

I do agree though that the placket is wrong and spoils the look a little.

I agree the main sponsor spoils it and seeing the training gear suggests Bond it could've not had the white background made it look far better but I'm thinking there'll be a white number panel on the back.

Excellent shirt, I'm a traditionalist at heart and love the look of it, don't mind the collar at all, well done.

'Traditional' shirts had white collars.

Yes but they were proper collars with only the top collar bit white which folded over around the neck not bright white half way down the front!

The part around the neck is the collar. The opening down the front is the placket.
