| He looks to be back to his best to me. Dependable in defence and deceptively strong when going forward.
This is only my perception but I think certain players are not mentioned during games because the commentators don't know who they are. Teams like Leeds, who are on tv most weeks and have international players accross the board are known and named in play but when one of our unknown (to the commentators) players is,say, held up over the line, they say "Huddersfield are held up", not "Murphy held up".While players like Danny, Leroy and Jerry etc are always named.
I only noticed this after watching a replay of last weeks game; our younger players were called "Huddersfield". The exception of course is Ryan. Who they would have to have no interest in rugby not to be able to identify him.

| I agree, Murphy has looked more like his reliable self since his return to the centres. The word solid, used a couple of times here to describe his performance(s), seems very appropriate yet may be the reason he is not being lavished by other members as much as Brearley must think he deserves with his 10/10 rating! Whilst solid, his performances have, in my eyes, been eclipsed by his centre partner. Leroy's form of late has been of international standard, and if he keeps it up must be a front-runner for the right centre berth. Is there a better English centre-wing combination than Leroy and Jerry? Leroy was involved in three tries on Friday with his timing and passing - his pass to Jerry and delayed pass to Wood being perfect examples of centre play.

| I love Murphy, but I'm going to reserve judgement on his form at centre until he's been opposite a decent opposite centre

| Thanks to all who replied. It shows that, even though Sky have their faults, Radio 5 Live Sports Extra is worse.
