Yep, however i have just given it another go and eventually it changed to the original style

Examiner site is poor, I guess it's pulling a lot of information from different sources and is hosted on a low bandwidth provider.

Have a look at the top menu there are links to the mobile site - try using that. It will determine whether its the database or images ifs struggling with.

Are you using an upto date browser too?

That is fast.

The mobile & old styles are quicker.

Thought it was just me who'd changed it back to the 'retro' version.

'Retro' should be renamed to "... easier to read, clearer layout , and much more user-friendly..."
