It wasn't.......... as a poster on our site said the RFL has got a commitee that cites players for as much as farting on the pitch. Of the 10 incidents reviewed the only one I noticed occurring was the Mason/Macilorum handbags at dawn incident. Why they can't just leave it to the refs I don't know.
That said, the O Loughlin one needed reviewing just to put an end to the furore - which it has done.
Not surewhat they do about the Brown issue now, by leaving him alone they have in some ways condoned his comments, and if your forwards now injure another player in a match the suspicion will always be there. You would think Brown would have the brains not to repeat the same mistakes he made at St George......hasn't learned a lot in that respect.
Should be a spicy meeting next time - I agree - lets hope they put a strong ref in charge of it........... wait, have we got one?
