On facebook, this is what it says
We are only a few days away now from hosting the Biggest Fuel Protest in the UK here in Manchester on May 1st 2010 - "May-Hem"
Its been put together In Order for us to air our anger over the rising cost of duty on fuel which is currently around 75p per litre.
The previous two years we have protested A barrel of oil was around $140.00 which pushed a litre of fuel upto £1.21.9 which is a record high in the U.K - Just this week BP is Currently Charging £1.22.9 for unleaded and the Barrel Price is just $81.00.
This Like Previously Mentioned pushes up the price of your daily bread and milk and its just not fair !! It is time to enough is enough - we are also just two weeks away from a general election so we have a chance for the political elite to initialise and realise we as a nation are cheesed off and maybe just maybe they will listen.
If you are as passionate as we are about being seen and being heard you will join us !!
So When and Where ?
Start - Hartshead Moor Services (Westbound) Meeting from 7am Set off 9am @ 25MPH
to
Birch Services (Westbound) "23 Miles" (Meeting Convoy No. 2 Please Meet at Birch Services From 8am)

From Birch We Head Down The M62 - M60 - M602

Also we originally intended on getting to the town hall however there are two weddings on this saturday and we couldn't intrude it wouldn't be fair to the lucky couples
